Seems like an awful place to build houses.

Nearly half a ton of steel just casually floating by. Kinda terrifying tbh, especially if you're unlucky enough to be caught in the water.

I couldn’t not tell you why but when I read the title “dumpster diving” my brain did so as if it were sung by Dio

“Eat Taco Bell”, they said.

“You’ll be fine”, they said.

This looks expensive.

Skips always looked like they'd make a good boat. Might just need a little ballast.

This is one of countless videos made in the following days of the devastating flooding in Europe on July 15th 2021. Almost 200 People died alone in Germany. Causing a damage of at least 10 billion Euros. The reconstruction is continuing to this day!

I Imagine all the water and dumpsters might be bad for the buildings' integrity. Wonder what '@AlphaStructural thinks about this?

Jokes aside I hope those historical looking buildings came out ok especially the foundations, that's some pretty fast running high water

Maybe it’s not the first time? So they used to this, they are prepared for it. Just my opinion. Personally I don’t know even where is this place

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, sadly not. It was pretty bad.

I don't know about this specific place, but if it's the '21 flood in western Germany and the Netherlands, it has been pretty devastating overall. An entire village got washed away and over a hundred people died.

This was the July 2021 flood.

Germany Sarah Bürvenich
This is Bad Münstereifel!! A picturesque, old town in the Eifel. My Mum loved to take my brother and myself there on weekends for strolls and ice cream and as a child I used find it super boring … obviously it grew on me, especially living overseas for a decade, coming back to historical places like this very street filled my heart with childhood memories and warmth.

This was in July '21.

My family left Germany when I was 5, moved to Canada. I hated the weather and how ugly the cities were. Terribly homesick I begged to go back and live with my Omi. No such luck.

Other than what seems to be a mediocre graphic designer, who's Sarah Bürvenich?

source (aka 'sauce') for the quote. Often (well, rarely) some people are curious as to the identity of unidentified post material. I did not identify this but linked to a person who did. If you are uninterested, just ignore.

Got a source for that statement?

See all the downvotes on my comment. Sources are for losers. So often is the truth of statements.
