A tacosourus. Nice.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

I agree, that one was my favorite out the bunch, but I don't know why.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it because of the Taco, or the dinosaur? One does not know, for no one dared ever mixing them up!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Here’s my first tattoo:

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hell yeah it does!I Only got this but I'm hyped to get another, probably what I'll use my first paycheck for

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Explain pls

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got this one for free, never had a job before, when I do, I'll use my first paycheck to get a second tattoo

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How’d you get such a good tattoo for free?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll find out in July ;)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it just me or have tattos gone hipster?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'd argue more mainstream than hipster. Although certain images are super hipster now, like a solid black line up the arm.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Kinda like how Tribal tattoos became synonymous with douche bags lol

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Here is mine:

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

I so love it! I'm considering myself to one like that someday, I love aliens :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...This is stunning, especially when compared to the shitty one in the same arm...

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I'm not sure but I think they are related. The eye would be a reference to Death while the fox would refer to Delirium (The Sandman)

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's not the usual death eye makeup that's referenced, but it's possible I guess

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's most likely an Udjat eye, the eye of Horus, which symbolizes protection, royal power, and good health.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is it weird to ask for artist credits? It seems to be in a different category because the piece is on someone and it’s not like the 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

tattoo artist is going to sign it, but it was still made and likely designed by someone in a skilled profession who should get credit. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Tattoo or not giving proper credit to artists is important.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Plus I really want whoever did that first one to tattoo me...

Do the ones with wild and vivid colors stay that way?

Reds, oranges, yellows fade way faster than other colors. I have one with a lot of shading - stays nice w proper care and touch up every 3yr

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It has a lot of deep blues and a bit of watercolor so it is a bit more high maintenance than most. Sunscreen, moisturizer.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sunscreen every day if exposed, moisturizer as well. Some colors fade faster than others anyway; yellow goes the fastest that I've seen

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get it! A Bowie knife. Haha

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Thank god you're here, didn't get it XD

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aaaaaaaaand now I get it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm very sceptical that a lot of these will remain good tattoos

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

I'm pretty sure a handful of these are temporary, so yeah, I REALLY doubt those will remain period.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Idk, even in the more colourful/intricate ones you can see the areas shaved and if you zoom in more, draw strokes from the machine.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who cares. renew them, move on.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I've always held the opinion that if I love my tattoo for 10-15 years, then don't love them later, they were worth it for the time i did

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pretty much how I thought, they look good fresh but colours fade, edges blur, a lot of these intricate and geometric ones will get soft

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The watercolor ones don't do well over time, they need black ink to stop them totally running into eachother, also yellow goes real fast

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sorry to sound jaded but I suspect several of these may possibly be photoshopped. Just sayin. Nice pics tho.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That's very possible, although I have seen amazingly vibrant tattoos before, just don't tend to age well at.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#18 is going to become a permant bruise.

8 years ago | Likes 324 Dislikes 1

Why

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I wouldn’t say so... it’s usually when it’s too small that over time it’s hard to distinguish beteeen a tattoo and smudge

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Small details will get lost in the tree, and the very bottom there isn't much contrast between purple and black, it'll smudge together.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The bottom ring: agreed. The middles going to lose intricacy and be broccoli in 10 years too, but that purple may look good even faded

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah gonna look like they just finished some pseudoscience cupping shit

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And what do you think the marks from that is? Paint?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yo the purple is obviously ink...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

For the record, the deleted comment was a complaint about how the user had to scroll through all the pictures to find #18

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I actually did not know that. Was about to do what the deleted comment guy did and be really annoyed about it. Just made my life way easier!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To be fair, up until recently it never worked for me. It was only about a month ago that it started working. It used to refresh the page.

Doesn't work for me either. Never did. When I click the number, it's just a link to the post itself.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Agreed I’d love this style with a bear.

https://www.instagram.com/tattoos.by.erin I pretty much said “no swatikas, no dicks. But other than that, do what you want.”

Alaska is too far from where I live, it's a shame I really like the tattoos

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

OKAY BUT YOU NEED TO LEMME KNOW WHERE YOU WENT?!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

https://www.instagram.com/tattoos.by.erin she is stupid good!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow! Incredibly talented artist! I wish I was closer - definitely would get her to do some work for me.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

As much as I love tattoos, I don't think I could ever get one. There is no such thing as perfect, and the slightest imperfection would drive

8 years ago | Likes 267 Dislikes 11

I got a little mistake on mine, not driving me crazy but annoys me haha :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you are not perfect. Why are you still sane?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Life ain't about being perfect bro <3

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Same but #8 is on point.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine aren’t perfect but I like that about them. It shows they’re made by a person and not by a machine with perfect lines.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Calm down. Life is full of imperfections, you said it yourself. Tattoos are not about being perfect.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

you could get one on your back so you won't be able to over-analyze it

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Mine tell my story. Complete with imperfections.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

This

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got words for that shit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Imperfections make them perfect. Woah can you even say that?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Imperfections make them REAL.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's about having a nice experience. I really don't care what my tattoo artist puts on me. I like the feeling and to look at it everyday.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

And no, there is no story or things to tell about my tattoo. But its art for me, pretty fucking dope art.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I feel you. I wish I could find a good artist and just give them a canvase to go crazy on. Every artist I've met has looked at me like 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm nuts when I just say I want "art" and ask them what they'd like to draw...2/2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

@jeppedahl on IG is my tattoo artist. Look him up. He does art! Hope you find one

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me insane. Even 'abstract' stuff that isn't suppose to make sense can still have shaky line work, shallow color saturation, etc. There is

8 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 3

Then don't get one on the front of your body where you can see it? Even an imperfect tattoo I think is beautiful because it's decoration

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The beauty in a Tatto is the imperfection in it, it makes it unique. I drew mine myself and enjoy its imperfections everyday! :)

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Exactly:)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just so many areas, and no matter how good the tattoo, you can ALWAYS find a flaw. And that would be hard for me to know that there is

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 1

Something that I can't fix or adjust. Though most would never notice, as there wearer of the tattoo, you'll notice every little detail.

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 1

Is your body absolutely perfect right now? Does it drive you nuts at all times? Same thing with a tattoo. Nothing is perfect, just live.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's really not so bad honestly. Although yes you may notice the details that are off it won't bug you as much as you may think

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I got a tattoo with the intention it would fade to look like a birthmark. It faded perfectly but I cant see it because it’s on my ass

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel the same way. People always look at me weird when I explain that. I'll get one some day but it has to be from someone really skilled.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I am also pretty finicky so i got my tattoo on the back of my calf where i can forget about it I grow to dislike it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Absolutely agree.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

At first I noticed some (and I can be extremely focused on such). Now I'm sometimes surprised that I have tats when I look in the mirror

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sort of: OH RIGHT! I DID actually get those 10+ years ago. And then get back to brushing my teeth and noticing flaws on my body instead...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Breh. No offense but I think you need some weed

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I felt the same way, but the one I have isn't perfect and it honestly doesn't bother me. Got it for a reason, and that's what important

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But it's your body, if you don't want one don't let other people talk you into it. Because then you definitely wouldn't like it

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

While I understand your point, I often forget I even have tattoos in the first place. It isnt as bad as you think

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is just a normal feeling before getting one, you will not feel this way after

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look up single line tattoos, then find a damn good tattoo artist

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone's different. That style might not mesh with them. I'm personally not a fan.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Meh after a few years you forget its there and accept the flaws like the rest of your body. I got nailbunny on my shoulder and hes just 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

A part of my arm now. Some of the color faded and with it my insecurity about the shading work done. It all works out. Go for it dude.
