Been there highly recommend it. Some nights they turn the lights off and you have to use a flashlight to get around.

Went there a few months ago, most of the adult-sized stuff is outside and inaccessible in winter. However, the kid area inside is sick.

Nah, just don't go into the residential areas near there. Forest Park is great, too. They're only 10-15 minutes apart by car.

This area is fine, make sure your hotel is on the west side though. Just basically stay away from east St. Louis.
