Hope you hit your goal soon! If you haven't already considered this, try contacting any and all news/radio stations in and around your area. Let them know your story, cause and how the insurance is treating you. Might help you hit your goal faster and maybe the insurance might even have a sudden change of heart being on blast.

My situation is not unique. And I have Medicare/Medicaid. They view it as "It would not medically help me, so I don't need it." Which, in all fairness, I will not die without it. I just need it to actually get out of bed.

Well if nothing else it'd still be a good reason to contact your local news/radio stations. Especially with the holidays being right around the corner. I think anyone could appreciate your simple wish for your mobility back and you'd probably reach your goals much quicker from your local community.
