Fetch Level... Golden Retriever

That's no dog. That's a dogfish

I’ve never seen a dog dive and stay submerged like that! v

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Good doggo, wandering away from the dry human before shaking!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good boy!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Almost like they were bred, to retrieve things

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I've never realized it, but...I have never seen a dog to go diving before. Swimming yes, accidental dive yes but no holding breath.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1+ for the pun

8 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

I held my breath until he got out of the water.... I almost died.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I thought that was a trampoline

nessie

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Misleading title. That’s a yellow Labrador retriever

I think that’s a yellow lab

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Once threw a rock in the sea my dog hops in comes back out with a rock not the same rock but 10 for effort

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tbh I have never seen a dog fully submerged in water until now. Always swimming above

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now that is impressive! My golden retriever can only submerge her head

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Scuuuuuba Dooooooog!!!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1)When I was young we had a golden that we would show a rock to and then throw it into the lake and he would dive and pull out rocks

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

2)till he found the one we showed him. Man I miss Benson.

Sounds like a good boy

Me curious too.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That good boy was raised by otters. (And yes i looked )

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I may be dense but looks like Labrador

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

He has a HEART of gold

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm not saying you're *not* dense, but you are correct.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That a labrador, goldens have much more floof

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Whoa.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow! I never seen a dog go under the water like that? That was WAY COOL ????

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That roll though, after a good shake off. Got to maximize those murky pond smells into the wet dog coat!

8 years ago | Likes 228 Dislikes 2

I am so glad that my dog avoids water like the plague.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Those dogs will never smell him coming now

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Ducks, not dogs. Damn

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Ducks may not, but somebody’s getting the garden hose before they come into the house to sleep on my bed.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I saw it’s gills...fake news

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fetch level: "You're not getting in the car like that."

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is a Labrador, not a Golden.

That said, last golden in my family could retrieve things from the bottom of the deep end of our pool, some 8-10ft, with ease. Amazing dog.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're all wrong. It's a fish. You're welcome ????

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Interestingly enough, the Goldens full title is Golden Labrador retriever. It may not be a golden but both are VERY much Labradors.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fetch lvl is Golden Retriever, the dog is Labrador.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Labs are better retrievers though

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a separate discussion.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're serious, what's the difference, If any?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Goldens go “fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh” and labs go “bope be dope dope”

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Different personality traits. Goldens are larger, only the one colour (labs choc/black/gold) but the easiest way to tell is long hair

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Retrievers come in a color spectrum of white to copper

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know but was just giving a general description, word count and all...... i own two. Both english colours

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Golden’s are happy to see you. Anyone anytime anywhere. Labs will kill for there families especially children! Best family dog out there.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Technically it's called a "Labrador Retriever", maybe for a reason

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

Because it's from Labrador?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Actually originated on the island, from the extinct St John's Water Dog breed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

get out with your logic

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It's a yellow lab, the dumbest of the bunch. Note the lack of ripples before it jumped in; that's just a random rock in the water. Dopey dog

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 15

Best water retrievers ever made. Not dumb but definitely stubborn. You need the 10% rule! Gotta be 10% smarter than the item in question to

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Successfully interact with it!!!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

We had one of each. Jack (black), Charlie (chocolate), and Trotter (yellow). Jack and Charlie were sweet and clever; Trotter only sweet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chatting with a couple breeders about it, they said it definitely can vary, but those color generalizations hold up.
