I've met plenty of men who were okay with gay men (hell, one or two of them WERE gay/bi themselves) that were toxic mostly just in the way outlined in the meme: Where they think every man with compatible sexual preference to their partner is just waiting for an opportunity to have sex with them.
In that case it's rooted in an "outsiders are potential competition for my mate" type of thinking, not the full scope of toxic masculinity.
