Don't forget money and inflation.

Where’s the option for “I don’t like them” ?

Seems like most months my pay is just a little less than I need to get by, too, which doesn't bode well for funding another life

You forgot money. I can't afford myself let alone little selves.

It’s true. I can barely afford my own avocado toast.

Millennials and their urge to take care of their bodies. While also being completely aware of the fact that Exxon and BP and going to cremate us all by 2050 anyway.

Three kids under 8 - wife and I have a blast with em. Raising them to be creative, thoughtful, industrious. Bluey is amazing. Be at a point in life when you’re ready and have a good partner. Sure life is neat when you’re young, I waited till 35 to start - but life has a barren future without children.

Imagine how much easier things would be if you could recognize that it's not a bad thing for different people to want different things in life.

I got married at 35 and we already knew there would be no kids. 12 years later, lots of pets with no possiblity of kids. I love being Uncle Richard. I never wanted to be Dad. My life is different than yours, but it is a life I like.

I had 2 kids before I realized how bad things were and wouldn't have it any other way. I ALSO fully support anyone's decision to remain childless.

I'll say it: natural selection plays no role anymore so our genetics are... far less than ideal.

Ooh, that's a tricky one. Hard to argue that one without ending up sounding eugenicist. What even IS an ideal human?

Given how many generations you need to selectively breed for a particular trait I would think that anything up until now has mostly just been random really and what some people are suggesting might be genetic disposition is instead a learned trait.

I can give a few examples of what it isn't...

So can I. But my grievances with humanity are more arguably nurture, not nature. The idea of applying some concept of natural selection as form of redress is, to me, merely maliciously addressing a symptom, not fixing the underlying cause.
