They used my internet history to try to prove I did
I wasn't in the state when she claimed I raped her
I had never touched her when she claimed I raped her

The main piece of "evidence" they had was I liked Rape Fantasy Porn. I'm a victim of child molestation and would never hurt anyone in anyway. I cry like a baby when I watch sad movies ffs.

But because my fetish is fucked up and she accused me of it when I dumped her cause she was abusive, I'm labelled a rapist whenever I feel comftable telling people

I AM NOT A RAPIST. I HAVE NEVER HURT ANYONE IN MY LIFE.

Civil and criminal charges on her. Get a damn good lawyer. Get her put in ail for false rape accusations. Set a precedence.

She should be in jail.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That really sucks, sorry. :( <3

Sue that mother fucking asshole

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've been going through something similar. Our legal system is a mess.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Perjury. This is perjury (sp) and is illegal.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck her OP. Well, don't. Poor word choice, but you get the fucking idea.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

...but have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and said 'I'd rape me'

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh my GOD that bitch should be in jail. Or dead.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Your kink is totally valid. As a kinkster and s/assault victim, she's a lying PoS. This is why people that do this shit get away with it

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I seriously hope things get better for you soon - people can be a/holes, try not to let it get to you. (By kink I also include fetish/taste)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sue that bitch and the county.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They used your porn preference to try and stick you for a crime? That's...not upsetting...at all...for me...*cough*

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Women who falsely accuse a guy of rape should go to jail in his place for destroying his life even tho he's innocent.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's exactly what a rapist would say

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

My old university assumed rape when I had a girl over past curfew and I had a couple of beers in the fridge. I was under investigation

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

How did that end?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

pulled over

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I transferred

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The media is what makes you guilty or innocent. If you're innocent of rape, but the media paints you as guilty, you "got away with rape."

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

People accused of sex crimes should be kept 1000% anonymous until proven guilty ffs. Also, can't you sue back?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Welcome to the shitty double standard. Sorry that happened to you.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 7

Recently saw a guy get assaulted in a bar followed by the women alleging to police that he had done something to her first. He didn't want

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To press charges cos he's not that kinda guy... Buddy she's that kinda girl. She walked away from that experience empowered to do it again.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All you need to do is write a letter to the DA once a week requesting they charge her with purgery. Doesn't require a lot from you.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

She can't be charged with purgery.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If she gave any statement under oath, then she can.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Trust me, she really can't be charged with purgery no matter what she did.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm in a similar situation OP, just not with rape, I had my mugshot plastered all over the news the other day, and I'm not guilty.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

You know the truth, don't let others define how you are seen by new people

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You know how the internet works right?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP sew her, her family, her lawyer, the judge, and the state for the living hell they've made your life into

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sue*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you learned nothing from us man! ALWAYS USE PRIVATE WINDOWS AND/OR CLEAR YOUR HISTORY! Also, sorry this happened.

9 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 10

Private Windows.. I feel bad for that guy, he's seen some shit...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Your search history can also be a saving grace, considering time and place of search. 2 sides to every coin.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

So basically, search "clean" porn actively, "filthy pervert porn" privately? P:

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ISPs keep the data. So the court can subpoena for that info.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oof.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They can, but the prosecution would have to know the info was there to bother looking. Obvs. the GF knew and dropped the info.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Some. Isp i worked for only counted it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would've suggested VPNs with no logs, but now that is considered "probable cause for search and seizure".

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, really? Can I get a link for that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is fairly balanced discussion: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11604112. Now FBI can "judge shop" for a warrant due to jurisdictn

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's certainly more calm than I was expecting.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It isn't the sentencing that makes people guilty in the eyes of the public, it's the charges. You should see what legal recourse you have.

9 years ago | Likes 286 Dislikes 3

This is why the cries of "rape culture" always piss me off. Simply being ACCUSED of rape is enough to destroy someone.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There basically are no options to get justice because the law doesn't want to prosecute rape liars. So he's boned on that.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is why you should stop publicizing charged people's names in the U.S.- as a German, this is devastatingly stupid practise.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

You're not wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"They were being charged with the murder of an entire family, there's no evidence proving it, but lets just say he's guilty for views"

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

At the very least OP has a lucrative defamation suit.

9 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 0

based on the previous submissions, OP has a really strong imagination, but maybe not a lawsuit.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're funny. Nobody will TOUCH him because "they don't want to discourage real rape victims".

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

Yeah. Pretty much the best course at this point. Also moving very far away and paying professionals to bury internet search results.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

The last bit there is important--You can totally get yourself cleaned off the internet.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Not entirely cleaned, but... definitely clean*er*.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No one is proven innocent by our justice system. They're not guilty. Very different concepts.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That is the very problem. You're not supposed to think oh they just didn't have enough to convict him. If they can't prove in a court 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

of law someone committed a crime it's literally the highest judgement that can be made. You're feelings don't mean shit.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

of innocence. (2)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My feelings? There's a very good reason why we say "not guilty" instead of "innocent". And that's because we can't differentiate the two.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At no point during a court process is someone *proven* to be innocent. They're just *not* proven guilty. We work on the legal assumption (1)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just curious, why rape porn though?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

porn can become very desensitizing and you often expand your "research" for results for things that peak your interest

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

For me I like porn that is a bit more extreme than I would do IRL. Plus you know they are just acting (badly) so it's not like getting off >

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/ to an ACTUAL rape.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can't get off to anything but rough sex. It's why it's been three years since I've gotten laid. Don't want to hurt others.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Same here, there are girls into rougher shit and being dominated in bed

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, I am a girl who does like rougher sex, I guess I just don't like the 'unwilling' aspect that I would see there. Wouldn't BDSM work?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wait your search history ?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Rape Porn was the evidence.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

brb

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

She must have claimed it before the history search. That is also evidence.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She claimed it and they couldn't prove I did. Turned into a character assassination trial. Tried their damnest to convict until she recanted

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Recant is the key then. Shouldn't have left that out of the post. Was there a Trial? Did she recant on the stand?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, she recanted in private either to the DA or the Police. I don't know how all I know is I don't have to spend another second around her.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If it's true it sucks, but spare the sob story. Those most likely to abuse are those who were abused, that's not a defense

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 14

You were raped/molested, Clearly that means we should just assume you're a potential rapist and or molester. You have dog shit for a soul.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where is a statistic that backs that up?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As a person who fits that category, my shrink says that shit all the time

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I'm sorry. :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please tell me you are taking them to court for defamation of character..

9 years ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 2

Thats a thing? I thought it could fit under "slander" but I don't know the differences, and ether way it still hurt.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If this were me I'd rather just put it all behind me and try to get on with life.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 11

Her* ("Them" is plural. And don't any of you DARE to make the claim, "Well, now society uses it as a singular pronoun--NO! Just... No.)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 46

Ya, not exactly relevant to the conversation. Thanks for the unwarranted input tho.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Triggered!

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They/them has been used as an unknown/gender neutral singular for a couple hundred years colloquially. We just refuse to make it proper.
