Some of you may remember the poor dog named Lucky left to die in a crate in an abandoned backyard...Well here's some good news!

If you don't want to read the original story, the tl;dr is that some girl fosters with the intent to adopt two disabled (blind/deaf) American Bulldogs, leaves them in the crate for an unknown amount of time in a backyard to starve to death, then finally notifies the original foster of Lucky's location (the other blind dog was not there at the time but has been recovered).

Well, here's Lucky today! The foster posted this pic earlier today showing Lucky's progress! He caught parvo during his recovery, so to see him go from nearly starving to death, almost dying from parvo, to close to his original state in less than a month makes my heart smile! I thought you guys might enjoy some good news today!

Edit: For those who have asked, Ashley Davis has not been arrested but there is still an active investigation ongoing. The process is a very long and tedious one, and does not happen overnight. Simpson (the other foster dog) is recovering and being held as evidence by the local animal shelter there. There has been a gofundme of sorts made for Lucky, and has exceeded its goal by far. However, the woman who rescued Lucky intends to use the leftovers to save Simpson (the blind bulldog) and to possibly open up her own shelter organization.
