Why hello Imgur!
After seeing many anime recommendation posts, I'd figure I try my hand at doing one of my own. Summary's, number of episodes/OVA's/movies, my personal rating (completely different from MAL's rating), as well as a few of my thoughts for some are included in this. I did my best to throw some anime's in here that you wouldn't normally expect to see on a recommendation list. I will also include the intros from the FIRST SEASON of each anime because sometimes it takes a little more than just a summary, a rating, and picture to get someone to watch an anime. Please note:Certain intro's will not be present because of copyright on YouTube. Also this is MY list, I don't care if you don't agree with me on some of these. All summary's taken from Kissanime and MAL
Absolute Duo
We're starting off with this one for a few reasons. Number one, I'm trying to throw some shows in here that you wouldn't normally hear about and two because I need 20 and I've pretty much drawn a blank. This is one of those anime's where the story/plot aren't all that great but the action is pretty flipping awesome. Be prepared for fan service.
The story begins with Blaze—a weapon that is the manifestation of a human's soul. Tooru Kokonoe happens to be qualified for this, but for some reason his Blaze is not a weapon, but a shield. Moreover, he enrolled in a school that teaches combat skills, and thanks to the school's Duo partner system, he ends up living with a beautiful silver-haired girl.

Written by the same guy who made Sword Art Online and IMO I think he did a better job with this than SAO. There are LN's for this so if the anime isn't enough for you I recommend you check out those as well.

Angel Beats
Otonashi awakens only to learn he is dead. A rifle-toting girl named Yuri explains that they are in the afterlife, and Otonashi realizes the only thing he can remember about himself is his name. Yuri tells him that she leads the Shinda Sekai Sensen (Afterlife Battlefront) and wages war against a girl named Tenshi. Unable to believe Yuri's claims that Tenshi is evil, Otonashi attempts to speak with her, but the encounter doesn't go as he intended.

Many will tell you that you will be crying like a baby at the end... This is true, but you will also be spending your fair share of time rolling on the floor laughing before that. Because it's only 13 episodes the anime does have its faults like a rushed plot with some holes and some characters never got their time to shine, but overall, its definitely worth a watch.

Rock (as he is newly dubbed by his captors) catches the interest of the only female merc Revy as she thinks he's worth a ransom, taking him hostage. However, the disc that was stolen has a terrible secret that's unknown to Rock, which causes massive confusion and chaos for both him and his kidnappers.

A lot of people will tell you this is one of the best anime's of all time. Is it the best? No, it definitely has it's flaws but overall it's worth the watch. It also has one of the best soundtracks.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou
Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake are students at the all-boys academy, Sanada North High School. This is a tale about just that—their daily lives as students. Winning the basketball tournament? Finding true love? You won't find any of that here. Whether it's sparking random arguments while hanging out with friends, meeting that one weird co-worker at a part-time job, or even letting imaginations run wild on a windy afternoon, we've all experienced the show's ordinary but true-to-life themes at one point or another.

Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 Edition
So it's actually kind of hard to find a good gif for the 2003 version.
The rules of alchemy state that to gain something, one must lose something of equal value. Alchemy is the process of taking apart and reconstructing an object into a different entity, with the rules of alchemy to govern this procedure. However, there exists an object that can bring any alchemist above these rules, the object known as the Philosopher's Stone. The young Edward Elric is a particularly talented alchemist who through an accident years back lost his younger brother Alphonse and one of his legs. Sacrificing one of his arms as well, he used alchemy to bind his brother's soul to a suit of armor. This lead to the beginning of their journey to restore their bodies, in search for the legendary Philosopher's Stone.

Everyone recommends Brotherhood so I figured I'd stir the pot a little and recommend the 2003 version (and IMO I think this version is better). This one follows the manga up until about episode 12 (I think) and after that it goes off on it's own route because at the time, the manga wasn't finished. Personally I prefer this story over the manga's/brother hood.

This allows for great increases in both physical and cybernetic prowess and blurring the lines between the two worlds. However, criminals can also make full use of such technology, leading to new and sometimes, very dangerous crimes. In response to such innovative new methods, the Japanese Government has established Section 9, an independently operating police unit which deals with such highly sensitive crimes. Led by Daisuke Aramaki and Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9 deals with such crimes over the entire social spectrum, usually with success. However, when faced with a new A level hacker nicknamed “The Laughing Man”, the team is thrown into a dangerous cat and mouse game, following the hacker’s trail as it leaves its mark on Japan.

Girls und Panzer
You may have heard of kung fu, but the girls at Oarai High School practice gun-fu - really, really BIG 75mm gun-fu, in fact. It's called Sensha-do, and it's the martial art of operating armored tanks! They take it seriously too, and since winning the national Sensha-do championship is such a huge deal at Oarai, they sometimes go to extreme ends in order to get the best students from Panzer class to sign up. Which is how Miho Nishizumi, who HATES operating tanks, gets drafted to join doomsday-driven driver Mako, even-triggered gunner Hana, highly receptive radio operator Saori and combustible tank-fangirl and loader Yukari as the incomparable Anko Team. They may not be on the half-track to fame and fortune, and maybe a few of them would rather shop for tank tops than become tops in tanks, but once their focus is locked and loaded, they're absolutely driven.

While the title suggests a story of simple, everyday school life, the contents are more the opposite. If I lost your trust with the last 3 I'm terribly sorry and I'm about to make it up to you
My review from Kissanime: My oh my where to start with this one. First off let me just say that this was some of the best character development I have ever seen. The two change their attitudes and evolve the farther you get into the story where it eventually goes from "I'm only with you because I have to be with you." to "I'm with you because I want to be with you." You could also feel the characters (that's the best I can describe it), you will laugh with them and you will cry with them. The whole plot/story was amazing as well. It's well thought out with a few twists to keep you interested (and believe me you'll stay interested the first two episodes). This was a very fun anime to watch and the final episode "Wolf and Endless Tears" stays very true to its name as you will suddenly notice that Niagara falls has made its way to your face once its over. I can say with honesty and boldness that this is the best anime I have ever seen and it has taken the #1 spot on my list. And with that I can confidently give this anime a 10... out of 10.

character development, individual story-lines, action sequences, art, and did I mention the music, all combine to form the best anime. (2)

I've seen plenty of GREAT anime, like GitS, but Bebop has everything. To be fair, it's a matter of degrees of awesome, and others are close.

My list of "Anime recommended by Imgur" already has 250 entries. OP why you would you do this.
BoredOfYou
Half of these are bad anyway. Just watch Sword of the Stranger. It's under 2 hours long and it's fucking amazing, just watch it dude.
tuesdayseven
It's already on my list, I'm sure I'll get to it eventually ;)
BoredOfYou
But seriously, nearly nothing is bad about it. Quit not watching it and start, ya know, watching it.
DocSarge
There anyway you could share said list?
tuesdayseven
I might make an Imgur post or something, I've received quite a bit of interest! I'll add another comment to this if and when I've done so :)
DocSarge
Thanks brotaco
Doopapotamus
If we're being honest, most of them are terrible. Legitimately terrible. I've given 3-episode rule for several season now of most series.
deidara8901
The vast majority of those are garbage. The problem is the people who watch tens of anime have lost any discerning ability for quality.
deidara8901
3 Do watch Mushishi and Baccano (the latter in english dub). The Fate/ series is well animated, but you should be into magic and that stuff.
tuesdayseven
Might I ask which in particular are not worth watching? I need help to make sure I don't become (any more of) a terrible terrible weeaboo.
deidara8901
There's been so many and honestly the anime you *should* watch is a more exclusive set. But I'll try. Some of these are plain bad, others
deidara8901
GENERALLY, you know what to expect. A cast of little girls and a high school setting both usually mean poor quality. There are only a few
deidara8901
that subvert anime tropes. Oh and comedy anime are more often than not pretty poor, low brow humor.
deidara8901
2arent suited to a mature audience. Neon Genesis Evangelion is dull, stick to the movies if anything. Hellsing is just morbid, no good plot.
deidara8901
4 GENERALLY, you know what to expect. A cast of little girls and a high school setting both usually mean poor quality. There are only a few
captainobvioustits
i don't like cutesy anime girls, over the top action, or school dramas. what can you do for me, OP?
SightlierGravy
Jin-Roh, Tatami Galaxy, anything by Satoshi Kon, and that's all that's coming to mind right now.

Baccano! has always been one of my favorites. http://myanimelist.net/anime/2251/Baccano!
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
I second the Steins;gate recommendation. It starts out slow, but when it picks up... well, it blew me away, and I watch a fuckton of anime.
ThermiteKitten
Monster is a great anime for people who don't like "stereotypical" anime. Rather long, but give the first two or three episodes a shot.
MartialSpork
Space Dandy: Episodic, Johnny Bravo IN SPAAAACE, Hooters IN SPAAAACE, funk music, and a sapient vacuum cleaner. Same creator as Cowboy Bebop
MechanicalSynergy
Ergo Proxy, I would also recommend "Eden of the east" but beware, the ending is unsatisfying
[deleted]
[deleted]
MechanicalSynergy
it was intriguing, like "i'll see where this goes" and it went nowhere
yehaaa6
Serial Experiments Lain, maybe? I found it to be super fucking slow though, so YMMV. I wouldn't do Eden of the East, personally.
MechanicalSynergy
well it may be a better question to ask what you want, if you don't like really slow shows, Eden is definitely not your kettle
yehaaa6
the part that irked me the most was the bait and switch, honestly. the first 2 episodes are nothing like the rest.
MechanicalSynergy
can't agree more
GuardsmanMiku
Steins;gate(recomended a million times) or PSYCHO-PASS, both verry good and sorta fit those requirements. Also the 2 the other guy suguested
GuardsmanMiku
steinsgate about a mad scientist and his 'friends' building a time machine. 1st 1/2 very slow u may not like, gets very emotional in 2nd 1/2
GuardsmanMiku
PSYCHO-PASS about some cops in a distopian future. About all that can be said with this character limit.
trebuchetguevera

Boredashell
See. I watch SAO first and loved it way more than LH. But then it kind of George Lucas'd itself once it left the MMO half way through.
birgerz
I am not going to start a SAO v Log Horizon fight but they are not that comparable, compare .hack to SAO, same fucking deal dude.

2003 or Brotherhood. Well Both are spectacular. 2003 has a fun twist, but brotherhood is better IMO.
Prolencon
Your opinion is shiiiiit
spartico
Damn, imgur, it's a reference joke.
jofbaut
I prefer the manga which means I prefer Brotherhood. After seeing Father, it's hard to like Dante at all. She's just a terrible villain.
WiqidBritt
the first half or so of 2003 is better because it's the same story but brotherhood rushes past most of the stuff the 2003 version covered
WiqidBritt
ie, you spend more than one episode with Nina, so you expect her to stick around a bit longer and it's more shocking what happens to her
TheDraggyTreetrunk
i feel like the 2003 is more story based while brotherhood is more action based.
terrorista31
FMA 2003 was the only anime that have the same high quality of animation in the 51 episodes, Brotherhood needed to equal or surpass that
jthmtwin123
watched fma first, i'm just starting brotherhood tomorrow. both are good though :)
TheDarkLordOfTrees
Which do I watch first?
plantbiologist
They aren't an ordered thing, but popular opinion is Brotherhood is better, so watch the 2003 edition first so you can properly enjoy both.
TornadoJohnson
Watch the original first, than brotherhood so you can get the full enjoyment out of it.
TokensWorth
either, the movie is the reason to watch 2003. Brotherhood has more action.
velkrai
Brotherhood is far superior.
OscarsEstus
While brotherhood is better, definitely watch the 2003 version first cause it covers some of the early backstory better
LebrEf
2003 had better production values and soundtrack, but brotherhood story is better, yes.
stuffinator
Better production values? 2003? What?
LebrEf
Animation quality and VO are generally better. I also think the directing was better to show the characters emotions but that's subjective
stuffinator
I disagree, in every aspect. Animation is much smoother, more detailed and more fluid in brotherhood. 1/2
stuffinator
In 2003 a lot of scenes feel lifeless cause lack of body language and things happening in the background. Way too many still scenes. 2/2
omnipotentmonkey
He might be referring to direction, and i'm inclined to agree in some ways. 2003 was definitely much better at the quieter moments, 1/
LebrEf

whereas Brotherhood tended to be louder and more bombastic by comparison. 2/2

NinjaNunDevil

Maybe Mangas the thing for you then. Same great plot but you get to make up all the voices yourself!

Exactly. If I watch an anime and think it's good I'll usually read the manga. Plus, there ain't no crappy filler (I'm looking at you, NARUTO)
yaluen
Obligatory "I like the fillers for the side characters" comment.
MnemonicMonkeys
Some are good, some are shit. Bleach has good examples of both.
keyblader1985
Seeing the Brotherhood comments makes me not want to associate myself with these people.
Metalgearslade
Brotherhood?
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
Comments stating OP's recommendation of the original Fullmetal Alchemist > Brotherhood (an FMA remake, widely considered better) is wrong.
yaluen
It really goes either ways. And thus best to never bring it up unless you're purposefully looking for a fight.
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
Some of us can talk about it maturely without needing to fight! =P But yeah saying "your opinion is wrong" is definitely asking for it.
Metalgearslade
That's when I snapped and posted my comment. FMA Brotherhood for life!
MnemonicMonkeys
Personally I preferred the original for the motif that true immortality is unattainable, but I can understand other's opinions on it as well
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
I just liked the ending in Brotherhood more, and I fucking LOVE Greed/Ling. But I totally get why other people prefer the original. :3
Popyseed11
I mean, technically it's not a remake since it follows the original plot
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
I just call it a remake cause it's a remake of the original anime series, so there's my logic. :3
SiIverSoul

MnemonicMonkeys
Unfortunately, most anime fans hate anime fans. I can't help thinking that would be a bunch of people in a circle glaring at each other
Metalgearslade
Did they all just sit in a circle glowering at each other a muttering insults under their breath? My kinda club.
CorvusBelli
That sounds like . . . pretty much every social gathering of late-teens.
TrulyUnpopularOpinions
Naw. All my get togethers during my late-teens were filled with direct insults and friendly games of grab ass. Good times.
TedDiezel
And don't you dare mention that you are looking for English dub. They'll start a lynch mob for not enjoying it spoken in Japanese with subs.
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
imo Depends on the anime. Some English dub is shit, but others are fantastic and you can pay more attention to the show rather than reading!
scrodobaggins
Tbh of all the varied series I've watched, I've only ever disliked one English dub. And it was just an annoyance rather than a deal breaker.
scrodobaggins
*To clarify, because they had the perfect cast within the series, I just felt they paired the wrong voice actors with the wrong characters.
Metalgearslade
*smiles and nods politely while secretly tying a noose and rounding up 'The Boys'.
IMainReinhardt
Thanks for that i don't speak japanese and have had problems with subs so i prefer official english dub as i KNOW what i heard is what right
MoskauHOHOHO
A lot of stuff can be lost in translation or changes all together. Plus a lot of times, the english voice actors just arnt that good.
TedDiezel
What difference does it make, it's my preference.. They get an elitist attitude and start yelling "If you dont like it in Jap, dont watch!"
MoskauHOHOHO
Im just listing rational reasons why the original could be better. You cant look at my points and say they arnt true.
TedDiezel
Has nothing to do with my point.. at all, whether your points are 100% true or not.. do you get what I'm even talking about?
MoskauHOHOHO
the English companies cant afford decent voice actors most of the time.
MoskauHOHOHO
I dont think my statement deserves a down vote. Its inevitable with a translation of any language that some things will be off.
MoskauHOHOHO
and if you listened to both dub and original, who will hear a big difference in the quality of voice acting.
Pulseless
Yehhh.. Absolutely nothing wrong with watching it, I watch a lot myself, but some people are just a little bit too into the stuff.
FarneseDeVandimion
It's so bad that I literally can't talk about anime to my friends or even family. I just don't want people to think I'm weird.
Eowyneb
Fuck what people think. You arent weird and the only person thinking that is you.
Pulseless
Just don't bring it up if no one present watches it too, I don't know many people IRL who do so I keep those convos to /r/anime.
Sitali
Youre not weird. =)
TheCheesyMoonMoon
What's the word that people use when they're so obsessed with anime they want to be Japanese? (1/2)

I have a problem with the fact you linked fma and not fma: brotherhood..... that is simply wrong.
keyblader1985
I love both of them, but '03 is definitely my favorite of the two.
Tennex
They're both good imo. I feel like FMA's plotline is more refined but FMA:Brotherhood had a much better ending
HayabusaZeroZ
I have a problem with you saying an opinion is wrong. I prefer Brotherhood, but I can not be an asshole about it. 03 is still really good.
requiredfall
FMA is better for younger people I think. Brotherhood is a lot more in depth, and more mature version of the same show.
RainesLastCigarette
I tried so hard to watch the '03 version after reading the manga, I got through it, but the story felt too dry comparatively.
deathbat428
I think it's fantastic for the story they crafted but it forced too many unnecessary cheap shots in my opinion. So many wasted plot devices.
AmFireAmDeath
They are different, I got more into brotherhood's plot but I enjoyed them both very much
YouCantKeepJetpackingAwayFromYourProblemsBrian
Agreed. Original is worth watching just so you realize how much BETTER Brotherhood is. They are both good, but Brotherhood nails it.
requiredfall
While we're arguing about this, how the frick do you upload a gifset to imgur? Am I retarded or.......
TheGoblinPopper
I have a problem with the lack of "the Devin is a part timer' given the kinds of titles he is throwing around. =/
terrorista31
FMA 2003 was the only anime that have the same high quality of animation in the 51 episodes, Brotherhood needed to equal or surpass that
Eatfishesgethoney
The dialogue in the first was a tad bit more natural but there's no excusing the botched storyline
PsychosisDiscworld
Some people get sentimental about 03 (guilty). In all fairness, OP did point out that brotherhood is featured on every other list out there.
CorvusBelli
In a few regards, FMA is better; far more time to grow attached to Maes Hughes, for example. Or foreshadowing Barry the Chopper.
keyblader1985
I think the thing with 03 is, while the plot is still important, it takes a back seat to the characters. It is at heart a human drama.
IamRevyn
what bothers me is that OP recommends Fate Stay Night: UBW and Fate/Zero and says you should watch in reverse order, nononono
IamRevyn
if anything watch the original Fate Stay Night > Fate/Zero > Fate Stay Night: UBW and that other fate/stay night:heavens feel whenever
puckster31
Well chronologically its Zero then Stay Night. I watched them in that order and really enjoyed it.
IamRevyn
definitely but fate stay night is super old so while good, ppl may not enjoy it as much after watching the others
Tennex
that logic doesn't apply to things like Star Wars series. Watching the prequals spoils the actual originals.
Deadpooool
I watched FMA prior to Brotherhood and loved Brotherhood so much more.
stuffinator
I could not finish FMA, I thought it was terrible. Then my buddy said "No, watch brotherhood instead" and I was blown away.
NightshadeAran
Like any normal person. Brotherhood is worlds better than the first one. OP is terrible at rating animes.(Ive seen most of the ones listed)
Deadpooool
I felt more immersed in BH; the characters were so much more developed.
NightshadeAran
They were, and the series made more sense in general. Didn't need an extra movie to "clarify" and "end" the series. Plus happier ending.
Deadpooool
I can't agree more about the ending. I loved the Homunculi and Scar a hell of a lot more. I'm tempted to rewatch now, lol.
SailorVSays
Just because Brotherhood follows the manga, doesn't mean it's better.
requiredfall
That may be true, but that's one gigantic vagina you have growing on your forehead.
NotAWoman
No it doesnt. That fact that's it's better makes it better.
SailorVSays
That, my friend, is a matter of opinion, which is subjective.
Chukapi
I cringed reading it honestly. It's great that they enjoyed it, but for god's sake Brotherhood is what FMA is; it follows the manga.
ERRORMONSTER
Why does following the manga make Brotherhood "more" of FMA than FMA? It's like Spider Man vs The Amazing Spider Man.
Chukapi
Yeah, you're right. I definitely phrased this a bit weirdly. I meant it was more what the author intended it to be, not that that 1/2
Chukapi
gives it superiority. I just think that makes it feel more true to its intended tone etc. 2/2
FreshCaviar
While Brotherhood is better (other than the rushed first 10 episodes), following the manga isn't necessarily a merit in and of itself.
Chukapi
certainly be good. I've heard that Elemental Gelade, for example, is better in the anime, which went in a different direction. 2/2
Chukapi
Yeah you're right. What I meant by it was that it was the author's original aim. But yeah, something that goes in its own direction can 1/2.
Xikiri
I feel as though the first setting of the plot was rushed because it was assumed the audience had already watched the first. (1/2)
Xikiri
I wager they didn't want their audience to feel as though they're watching the same thing twice. (2/2)
FreshCaviar
I think so too, just a shame first-timers won't get QUITE the same buildup to you-know-who's death.
Xikiri
lol @ the multiple "feel as though" It's as though my vocabulary can't language good.
IKilledKennyAndIAmABastard
I thought the original was okay... Brotherhood had better character development and story progression. I HATED Conqueror of Shambala.
omnipotentmonkey
Thought Conqueror of Shamballa was ten times better than Sacred Star of Milos. 1/2
omnipotentmonkey
can't think of many other anime movies which epitomise 'clusterfuck' to that extent off the top of my head. 2/2
IKilledKennyAndIAmABastard
I never even watched it because I watched Shambala first and I was like fuck the movies.
omnipotentmonkey
Imagine Shamballa except with worse animation (debatably) and a story equivalent to a shonen filler episode... don't bother watching it.
IKilledKennyAndIAmABastard
Well good thing I didn't plan on it.
Ireallydonthaveanyideawhattonamemyself
Some people prefer 03 over Brotherhood.
kwizmer
I liked both, I think I liked the majority of brotherhood better, but I think the other one wrapped up the story a lot better
ItsSneakyAdolf
And those people are wrong.
illegalacorn
And what do we say to those people, Bobby? We politely, but firmly, ask them to leave.
DrFeelgoodPhD
Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was America
Krakencrotch
Make me.
Darx94
And they are wrong for that.

I regularly send pictures/gifs from that whole thing to a friend, much to his dismay. his tears mask my own pain from the memories :'D
MyPointExzachtly
I'd say that 03 has a more artistic and original ending than Brotherhood, but Brotherhood's ending was so much more satisfying.
[deleted]
[deleted]
avidatheist
Did you pay attention to literally anything that happened after he absorbed "God"
SleepyWalrus
I think it might be because brotherhood was based on the manga, instead of going off on a tangent. I just read the manga so I can't say. ^^
[deleted]
[deleted]
Corin
Not true. 2003 was by Sho Aikawa & was very different from the manga. FMA:B was by Hiroshi Onogi & adapted Hiromu Arakawa's manga perfectly.
K1ngFiasco
Except it doesnt? That character clearly wasn't god.
[deleted]

Well it happened, not sure what else to tell you.

And? Domone Kasshu did that every episode and he still lost some fights.

I cannot stand people like you who somehow think an opinion on something like this is not correct, it's an opinion for a reason
requiredfall
I'm not saying because it's my opinion I'm right. I'm saying brotherhood is aimed towards older people, fma is goofy and more fun.
omnipotentmonkey
You're a complete idiot... FMAB was the one that forced comedy into scenes where it didn't fit, and anime visual comedy like - 1/
omnipotentmonkey
exaggerated expressions, sweatdrops and chibi drawings were FAR, FAR, FAR more prevalent in Brotherhood, not saying that 2003 is better 2/
DezTurkish
Fma is good and more fun? Brotherhood must have to be some fucked up, dark shit to make fma merely 'goofy' and 'fun' by contrast.
requiredfall
I thought so. They're both dark, but in my opinion fma was fun compared to Brotherhood. That's just me.
avidatheist
(2/2) Whereas there isn't as noticeable a shift in tone in the 03 version.
avidatheist
Around the time that they discover the truth about the philosophers stone, the over all tone of brotherhood gets much more serious.
DezTurkish
Oh I see. Maybe for me the whole thing felt fairly serious with light-hearted moments, so I never thought about it.
omnipotentmonkey
but if I were to describe one version as 'the goofier one' it'd DEFINITELY be brotherhood. 3/3
keyblader1985
That's not even slightly accurate. Brotherhood has plenty of humor, and 03 lays way heavy on the drama and matters of the heart.
requiredfall
They both have humor, that's true. But you can't in any way deny that fma:brotherhood was not severly darker and more gory.
outOfStylepirate
You might want to watch both again. Brotherhood does have more gore, but 03 was the darker and more depressing of the two.
keyblader1985
I am denying that it's darker. More gory, *maybe*.
CorvusBelli
Gorier? Yes. Darker? Nope. In some ways, FMA is harsher; like giving viewers more time to grow attached to Maes Hughes.
HiddenFawn
Jacksohn
I watch animes at soul-anime.tv . I think there are only subtitles (no dubs)
Wastyvez
Crunchyroll has good quality legal streaming. But they have a limited library. And free users need to wait an extra week during broadcast.
illegalacorn
kickass.to
Pharya
Torrenting anime is unreliable at best for older series. You have to find seeders and if it isn't an episode released that month then gg
GuardsmanMiku
normaly i watch on watchcartoononline.com, but you can just google the anime name and it shud come up with a bunch of websites.
LadyTotesMcGoats
Animefreak.tv
Puutep
nyaa.eu
SupermanIsBruceWayne
Crunchyroll is like the Netflix of anime, all the other website everyone else is recommending are like going on random websites for TV shows
BoredOfYou
Crunchyroll is the worst option possible. Want to watch an episode the week it aires? Pay. Wat to watch in HD? Pay
SupermanIsBruceWayne
Want to watch anything on Netflix? Pay
BoredOfYou
People consider Netflix a viable way to watch anime? Just torrent it or use a good streaming site.
MauricioGuaura
Or how about you support the goddamn industry by using Crunchyroll, you pirate?
azzurrivincitore13
anim">uden.">om">anim">uden.com">animeshippuden.com animesensi.com animeflavor.com just fucking google anime you dolt don't pay for shit
HiddenFawn
Well I believed that the kind people on Imgur would save me time that I could have wasted on bad sites.
azzurrivincitore13
Use add block plus, it makes things much easier. Also you need to work on your grammar man.
Hybris51129
Torrents so you don't have to deal with ads, player issues, the NSA, show availability, and the constant need of a internet connection.
ctzn07
free sites have fan-made subtitles are in most cases incorrect, sometimes even out of context. Thus I suggest paying for crunchyroll
BoredOfYou
Crunchyroll has worse subs than fansubbers. They want to get anime out as soon as possible, so they hastily sub and often make mistakes.
Erdan
I recommend animehaven.org. Their selection is somewhat limited, (they're fairly new), but it's almost all at least 720p, if not 1080p.
zalan26
Animeshow.tv is where i watch mine. Most of the animes are there in HD or at least 720.
andysavage
I watch them on Funimation or Crunchyroll channels on Roku. You can also watch them on their sites too.

http://www.otakucenter.com/ is free. The range they have is hu-fucking-mongous.
Manineedalife
I generally use animeftw.tv its great quality single 30 second ad at the beginning and thats it. You do need a free account but thats it
DonnaDeadpool
anime">y.com">animejoy.com or animabaka.tv are some cool free streaming places.
zackaroooooo
Just look it up on google, i've never not found an anime by this method. lol
upvotemantotherescue
Kissanime.com doesn't allow adblock, but the ads don't effect the video speed (depends on your internet speed) and they don't annoy you
ravesilly
There is a way to block ads on kissanime without blocking the ads if that makes sense.
TheMovingCastle
watchcartoononline.com is my mainstay
BoredOfYou
Doesn't it only have dubs? (we all know that dubs are often, but not always, poorly done)
TheMovingCastle
They do have subbed as well as dubbed
TheMovingCastle
Granted I usually watch dubs just so I don't have to read while I'm playing monster hinder :P
IamRevyn
i use Animeshow.tv for all recent and ongoing anime they have mirrors and an HD option for FREEEEEEE :D
SiIverSoul
Animefreak. Anime ultima. Anime Flavour. Cruncyroll. For example.
FreshCaviar
Steaming makes baby Jesus cry. Torrent like a regular person. I recommend ny">aa.se">nyaa.se or bakabt.me.
Hybris51129
Just be sure to seed otherwise they will block you until you give back what you have taken.
FreshCaviar
Streaming* too.

Kissanime.com is the best site I've found so far by far, quality and quantity. Crunchyroll is nice but you have to pay moneys

Does kissanime lag out your computerr like crazy. Because it does for mine.

Runs it flawlessly for me, and starts right away
HiddenFawn
Considering you've got a ton of upvotes, I'll go with your suggestion. Thanks!
kwizmer
Crunchyroll has Chromecast abilities which is why I usually use it, otherwise I use watchcartoon
HodgepodgeFoxe
It's someone's lucky day. Here's a 2 day premium pass for Crunchyroll: CJEH4LNEL89.
dakvas
Masterani. They don't have everything, but what they do have is amazing. And it's free. Has the best quality I've seen on any site so far.
BoredOfYou
Kissanime has the same problems as every streaming site, but it's okay. Crunchyroll on the other hand, is complete garbage.
Ireallydonthaveanyideawhattonamemyself
Crunchyroll has a lot of shit for freeee
TheAveragePerson
But only 360p and midway ads, kissanime has removable banner ads (you can just click [hide] to remove) plus you can see anime in up to 1080p
[deleted]
[deleted]
TheAveragePerson
I thought you could only see HQ on crunchyroll one episode a day?
Ireallydonthaveanyideawhattonamemyself
Adblock works on crunchyroll
TheAveragePerson
I know, but it's still only in 360p :P I'd prefer to watch 720p and 5 seconds of clicking at the start than watching in a worse quality.
joshk98
.
CrookedMan
Hulu has some anime, watchcartoononline.com is another decent one, but not always great quality.
BoredOfYou
No, no, and no.
CrookedMan
Wow, rude, what the hell is wrong with you? They're just suggestions.
zigzagler
I tried Crunchyroll's mobile app. It will play the same ad 3 times in a row, and then you'll try to timeskip, and it'll play 3 more times
Escheron
Their mobile app isnt great, but their website isnt bad
ImHonestonhowIseethings
You don't have to pay. The only reason to get premium crunchyroll is you can watch the shows a hour after they air on tv other wise (1/2)
Tehbeefertehbeefer
Premium Crunchyroll also removes video ads.
ImHonestonhowIseethings
you have to wait a week before it unlocks for non premium members but that really isn't much of a problem.
BoredOfYou
And there
