The fact that "1999" is in question makes me feel so old.

19s kids are soo last century

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1987 baby!! Where are my other almost 30-year-olds?? Anyone planning an awesome party for next year?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As a 99 kid, I have never thought of myself as a 90s kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think the "only 90s kids thing" is completely stupid because people way older than that would remember all of it too

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You are an idiot for thinking that being a 90's kid means anything. Good job arguing with literal 16 year olds.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

'76 baby here. All of imgur's "old people" posts are just adorable. I imagine my elders feel the same way.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The 18 year Olds voting for the first time in 2016 were too young to remember 9/11.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was born in 1996, but basically raised by my brother, who's from 1889, so that counts, right ?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same applies for the 80s, finally my name is relevant!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was born in 98 but had an older brother who was born in 93 and I followed him learning the ways of the 90s.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Technically it does though.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It literally could not matter less.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was Born in 77 and have always considered myself a 90's kid. Graduated in 96.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What does it matter when decade you were born in? Did people that were born in 1750 say they were 50s kids?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep. You have to be born in the eighties to be a nineties kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*90s baby

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

lets fucking face it the 90's didnt end until 2005

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Calling someone a millenial is wrong then, they're TENners.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Who the fuck cares?

9 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 4

Why does something so minuscule bother you so much

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

What about people born in 1923, are they 90s kids?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Yes.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was born in 99, have a GameBoy, love voltron, and thunder cats, and enjoy 90s things

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

How retro.

Good ole Blink 182 in the title

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

I'm going fucking deaf

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why do people brag about being "a 90's kid" anyway!??

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

A lot of things "90s kids" say only they will remember, a lot of 00s kids know too...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

same reason why some 80's kids brag about the 80's & some millennials brag about being millennials.. they have nothing else to brag about

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

90s kids are millenials

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

I was born in 1998, but still grew up with outdated tech and toys from the early 1990s. Does that count?

9 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 5

Was about to make a joke asking if 1998 counted, then say your comment. It's completely true.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same for me. I also had 2 older brothers who passed down their 90's-ness to me :)

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I think having memories of the world pre-9/11 is a big part of it. Such a drastic difference in everyday life.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

It just means you're fluent in 90s culture. I was born in 81, but had older siblings and no new technology, so I'm fluent in Gen-X culture.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

It means he (and myself) had a 90s childhood. Doesn't mean you were a 90s kid but close enough. My older siblings are 90s kids

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because 81 makes you Gen X :/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The cutoff for Gen X is usually between 76 to 79 depending on who you ask. I'm pretty squarely in Gen Y.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I go with 84 as gen X. It's really difficult mostly based on where you live. Northeast or west coast, I buy 76 as cut off.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But I goto 84 for Midwest. They're a little bit behind ;) I've heard they say people who remember high school before 911 are GenX~~

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Being a tomato does not make you a fruit.

9 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 4

should be "Being a tomato does not make you part of a fruit salad"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tomatoes ARE fruit. Fact.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

A smart man knows that a tomato is a fruit. A wise man doesn't put it in a fruit salad

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What if you're sunburnt and gay?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You're a sundried fruit?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

*rimshot*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Tomatoes are fruit though

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

But I get your point

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd say if you were born roughly between 1985 and 1995 then you a 90's kid

9 years ago | Likes 226 Dislikes 24

Born in 84 and I am an 80s and a 90s kid

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My sister was born in 84. Me 91. She's the 90s kid in our family.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

fuck yea made it in! (1994)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I started the 90s as a 5 year old and ended them as a 15 year old. I'll be dammed if 1984 isn't a 90s kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was born in 1980 but all my childhood memories are from the 90's. That's when I was in middle/high school. I don't remember being 8.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1996. I consider my self a 90s kid. I just have clear memory though. I remember most of the TV I watched was popular for 90s

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A lot of the stuff 90s kids always rave about (TV, movies, candy) was still pretty relevant in 00/01

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Born in the 90s, you're a 90s baby. Born in the 80s, you're a 90s kid.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes! I qualify

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I just barley made it in there then haha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I was born in 96...do I not make the cut?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 9

Same here

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I was born in 97 but why does everyone glorify being a 90s kid. I'm a 00s kid and proud.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kids born in the 80s ain't kids. Aww made myself sad as an 80s kid.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I was born in 95, and I don't really consider myself a 90s kid

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

95 here too! I get some of the 90s kids jokes but feel the same as you :)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was born in 98 and don't considering myself a 90's kid eventhough I received the 90's stuff. it was mostly later than everyone else.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

See. You understand. Your not a 90s kid.. you just had cheap parents. It's all good

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

The "nineties kids stuff" lasted until roughly 2004. '97 here and I feel like I got the nineties treatment through early childhood

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Being a 90s kid isn't about being born in the 90s.. it's about living through them as a kid. I was born in 93... I barely squeezed in

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was born a bit later than you, but as i lived county i pretty much experienced everything 6 years later than people living in cities.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Did you get to see cow and chicken on tv?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well yes, but take a note that i live in north europe and that kind of shows come here at least 3 - 7 years later that in uk/us.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ah... well damn

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Born 87 baby! NES, MMPR, beetleborgs and the first sode of Pokemon I saw was when Ash captured caterpie. Fuck with me.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Right there with ya pal!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the fuck is a sode

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Episode

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was born in 80 consider myself a 90's kid. More memories aged 10-20 than 0-10.

9 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 2

Same. I don't know that much disco.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

born in 82' same here. But i do have some memories of the 80's so I GET BOTH BITCHES!!! (I was 7 in 89' it counts!)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I sort of agree. I was also born in 80. I find it hard to consider myself a milenial. I say I'm Gen y.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Those generation lines are mostly BS, don't worry about it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Feeling more generation RX these days

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I'm generation SEX. Get it? Cause I'm sexy as fu- I'll show myself out...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is no Gen Y. It goes from Gen X to Millennial. You are a Gen X.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know technically there isn't... according to the "experts" I'm a late Xer early milenial...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd say if you were in school during the 90's you were a 90's kid. If not, you a 90's baby/toddler.

9 years ago | Likes 249 Dislikes 26

No one cares.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Doesn't mean we didn't get all that same cool old school shit you did

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends if you had older siblings as well to absorb a lot of it too

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

So if you were born in the 70's you were a 90's baby/toddler?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

?noredirect

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well literally speaking you are correct.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would agree despite being a 90s toddler. Not sure if it is part of being a kid in the 2000s, but some of the 90s culture trickled into (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Play a game of 90s Trivial Pursuit. Then you'll know...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kindergarten 99-00...guess that doesnt count

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's define the age of being a "kid". Kinda sounds interesting.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was born in 99 and every 90s kid post or shit you used in the 90s posts I used in my childhood. The early 2000s and 90s were not to far

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup. Culture doesn't abruptly change at the turn of a new decade. '99 too

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Senior yearrrrrrrrr

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Born in 1994? I was aware enough to remember the tail end of the 90's.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Same here. I remember most,if not all, of the things in the nostalgia posts on here

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"You are on the council, but we do not grant you the rank of master"

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Boosh!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So if you graduated high school in 96, you're a 90s kid? Sweet.

9 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Boosh! I must be drink. But hyeah.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I was born in 95 but I still remember a lot of things in the "only 90s kids will remember posts." Possibly because I had some cousins a 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I was born in 2000 and I remember most of those things.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

few years older than me, who showed me the glories of the N64. Also, I feel like the early 200s were still pretty 90s-ish. I remember Win95

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

"being a 90s kid" is subjective. I remember lots of stuff that only 90s kids would remember yet i wasn't born until this century.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 22

Soooooooo cool

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I was born in 1990, a true 90's kid

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

Same here. We're as 90s as it gets

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I started 1st grade in 1990. Based on OP's idea, which I agree with, that makes me a quintessential 90's kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

90 ftw

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm -91, but I'd say the early 00 stuff is what's nostalgic to me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

89 here!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was born in 1990 and consider myself a 90s kid. I do miss it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was 92, I feel like I just made the cusp of being a 90's kid, it's hard tot ell though.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Hey, we are 90's kids!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a 94 baby, so I played with a lot of 90's toys and was squeezed into 90's clothes, and I went into kindergarten in 99.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Hello fellow 94 kid who doesn't know where they fit in!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yaahhh!!! BSB and Pokemon were popular when we were kids, and mullets were going out of style

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
