I tried watching the "news" last nite for the 1st time in years and wow. It was nothing but garbage propaganda at best!

But if they only gave you facts then you wouldn't be angry. Angry people watch more. Advertisers like that.

*News. And yes, they’ve been doing that for years. Some shows are open about their bias and that’s fine, just don’t pretend to be unbiased.

Giving out facts died the moment 24 hour news channels started. Opinions being given as facts was started to fill in the hours.

This! You can easily ignore certain events and put others under a microscope and you end up with heavily biased reporting. I think that 1/2
is precisely where contemporary media and reporters fail the public. The public knows they’re getting fed a line but can’t quite identify why

But they are businesses. They aren't there to give you news. They are there to tell you opinions you want to hear thst appear to be news.

Not even opinions you want to hear. They're literally telling you what the opinion you're supposed to have is or "you hate america".
I understand they are there to sell advertisements & I understand capitalism. It would just be nice to know we got real info and not opinion
All the big news outlets (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc...) all put editorials on the front page.
Try ABC, NBC, and USATODAY for new webpages. I find them less sensational. Fewer opinions as main headline. That's just me
