I'm an art teacher @ OKC public school. Cause of budget cuts teachers are being laid off. My principle has started this Go Fund Me page to help me stay at the current school and have a job next school year. I truly love what I do. I love these kids.

Good evening. I am the principal of the best elementary school in OKC. Due to the way Fine Arts teacher placement has been handled in the past, we have had four different art teachers in the past five years. This year we finally found someone who places the students first and who is teaching them that each person has an artist inside. The artwork she has gotten the students to do is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Just when we thought we had everything going for us, the budget crisis hit. Please help keep my wonderful art teacher in my building!!!
The cohesiveness of my staff has never been at a higher level than it is right now and my art teacher, Jennifer Syeda, has been instrumental in helping with the process. Any help that we get towards keeping her through this next year will be more than we can ever ask. Any principal will tell you that once you get all the intricate pieces of your staff in place where the harmony can be felt when one walks in the door, you must do everything to keep your group together.
