How many tons is that split ac unit?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

'Straya, right?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why would you want your house on the other side of the fence?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice work. A few more pics of the work in progress seems to be the norm around here. Kudos

9 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 2

Unfortunately I didn't think of that

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

OP! Post a how to. I really want to do something similar to the side entrance of my house.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

R/diy for the win :D

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did it cost much? Thinking this would be good down the side of our place to minimise mowing :D

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, it looks completely different when you took a picture from a different angle!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Very nice indeed! Do you mind sharing the approximate cost on the materials excluding labor? My wife and I want to do a similar project .

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Quite cheap actually, only set us back $1700 :-)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not bad at all. Very nice indeed. Congratulations. Thank you for your reply.

Enjoy weeding

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty, but so much space where plants can't grow anymore...I like greenery.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hear that? It's the sound of the OP's property value rising.

9 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 0

I think it looks awesome! Not sure if it's true but I've heard the backyard has very little impact on the actual selling value of a house.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Maybe not, but I definitely bought my house because the backyard was huge compared to the rest of the neighborhood.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Considering this is in Perth Australia. OP can now buy several us states with the value of this property.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

have you moved house to the other side AND made a new walkway?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@OP your own work?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes :-)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh very nice.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A small touch that some may not notice but really has a big visual impact, the angle cut tile in the corner. Well done!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's beautiful. Really nicely done.

Now show the before and after pictures of the wallet.

As a lawn guy, I was gonna be pissed if I scrolled down and saw new sod laid there, doomed to die.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why would new sod be doomed there? I need help. I have a shitty yard and don't know how to grass.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It would die in that much shade.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks great, @OP! Very straight line on those squares.

9 years ago | Likes 514 Dislikes 4

Except for those 3 spots.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I'm salivating uncontrollably

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

MY EYES!!!! - what is that picture ?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Congrats on the giant litter box.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Thank you for not using the version that's not centered

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Congrats on the giant litter box.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Eh, they're premade squares, not actually all individual tiles.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Well aware, but they're lined up very well. It's easy for one to shift a little bit during installation.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn yo. Them shits look like it took all afternoon.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you going to plant anything @OP?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe some containers? Needs some life!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was thinking more along the lines of flowers or maybe a vegetable garden. I guess it depends on how much time you have.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Totally. I like those in containers just for the height and added design element of the pots :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Australia?

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

That colorbond fence tho

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I spotted that too the meter box sticker

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Weird how recognisable the Australian backyard really is...

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I believe they call it "the out back"

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Its because Australians apparently love wog box houses & yards with no trees. Climate change? Wut climate change?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

The fuck even is this comment

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Wog Box - Oz style of house that is literally just 4 straight walls forming a box with the roof on. Was popular with Mediterraneans aka Wogs

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My land has like 50 trees? But yep, this is a super aussie house

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lol wog box houses. More concrete and an olive tree, thanks!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah mate :-) Perth, Western Australia.

9 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

Did.. did you take any pictures during the project that shows progress? Would love to see

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I didn't, sorry! Should have but it's too late now, I don't plan on ripping everything up just to get photos and re do it :P

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit! Another Perthian on Imgur! I grew up in Joondalup, where you from man?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Victoria Park bud :-) good to see someone else from Perth on here!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice, but how many bunnings snags would of been involved during the project?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0
