Lord of Contagion Warhammer 40k

This was painted by my husband. He is really looking for some input on how it looks. He wants to improve so he is looking for comments telling what looks good or what he could do better.

Thank you!

@Op, blood on the weapon and powder burns around the bullet holes maybe?

Thought that was Kirby on top at first.

Similar to what everyone else has said, but I expect to see body fluids weeping from those cracks in the armor and rust when I think Nurgle

Very nicely done, love the leather on the handle. As others stated, try some weathering and dirtiness on him to make him more nurgley

Its a solid paint job. Put him onto Ben komets loaded brush technique

I am bad at painting and he is really good. I suggest he accidentally buy me a 2000 point Tau army, heavy on the suits, light on the kroots.

I love my kroot. They are great for getting early objectives

Lol. He is planning on painting the Tau starter army after these. I will post a pic or two for ya :)

Looks great! I'm loving the base, I presume it's cork? Only thing I'd recommend would be to make the guts look a little wetter by hardcoat

No prob! Your husband did a superb job :D

The paint job seems very well done. One suggestion is to make it less clean and sharplined as Nurgle champions tend to melt into their armor

Thanks! He says he might try it on his next one.

my exact thoughts. this cleanliness would be perfect for ultramarines, but everything else... its a universe of war, they wade through 1/2

2/2 gore and dirt pretty much non stop. there should be dirt and lots of stuff on his armor. but, from a technical perspective, great job!

Sorry but "wade through gore" is a helluva of an image
