Do you have a suggestion for another 40k group/faction/individual that you'd like to see that isn't on the list? Leave a suggestion. One per person, please.

Explanation: The Leagues of Votann are the collective confederations of the species of squat but powerfully-built Abhuman clones who refer to themselves as the "Kin." They are sometimes pejoratively called "Squats" by the Humans of the Imperium. The Kin are an advanced, starfaring species who possess highly advanced technology and live amid the extreme environments that mark the resource-rich worlds of the galactic core. The Kin share their lives with self-aware, robotic constructs called Ironkin, which they treat as full societal equals in every way.

Fun Fact: The Ironkin are sapient robots of the Leagues of Votann. Though the purpose of the ironkin is to support squats in every aspect of their lives, they are neither held in servitude nor treated as lessers. The ironkin are simply designed to want to be helpful. However, they can only imitate the emotions of the squats, and it is rare, but not unknown, for an ironkin to possess ambition or seek to become a leader.

#4 for FUCK's sake

can we please, for the everyloving veiny cock of Jesus, STOP with the AI?

Thank

"So what are these giant lizard, bug things?" "They're some kind of new alien that eats everything because they're always hungry, is currently spreading to every part of the galaxy, and the humans don't talk about them as much as they should." "Ah hells, the Skaven are back!"

I wish i still had the patience to play 40k cause holy throne id get those little buggers. They got so much personality and feel very under represented on the table top and even in stores. My local GW store doesnt even rack them, theyre on-order only.

#1 You gotta have priorities.

Man I fuggin love the Leagues. I don't play 40k, and I'm not much of a mini painter, but I /want/ so many space dwarves. And their trucks!

I want to make a custom guy that's based on Rory Swann from StarCraft 2. That'd be awesome.

#1 Is there a faction in 40k that can or used to be able to create a planet?

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd imagine that the Dark Age of Technology humans could've done it.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe the Eldar and Necron

2 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yeah, the starmap that can just cross off planets can probably make planets too, but they don't want to make planets, they want to delete planets.

My favorite thing about the Votann is that when dealing w/ the AdMech they act dumber/technologically inept than they are

2 days ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

Given the votann cores are actually AI (considered the greatest tech sin by the admech) and they have full on AI robots that makes sense. Of course the cores are also fully working STC manufacturing machines which is the most sought after thing by the admech (and only one non votann STC that still mostly works is known to exist still in the whole setting and its hidden on Necromunda)

Can't remember the source but remember hearing a story where tech priest on a Votann ship/station that appears rickety/rundown to tradw and the Votann he with consulting runic dice. Leaves thinking he got the upper hand and the Votann is like sucker as well as starts having crew clean up the facade

@op I don't suppose you still have the picture of the person who painted every pride flag as a marine chapter in minis?

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I am not sure I ever shared that. I apologize :/

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I saw it once, loved it, forgot to hit favourite or save it. I tried going back over your posts, but omggggggg you share so much.

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yes, yes I do. I am sorry :/ I wish I could recall what that post was titled

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This one?

2 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Yes, but there was more. But I've saved this one now, thanks!

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't honestly know what half those flags are and you're telling me there's more? How do folks keep up?

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

mostly only knowing the ones they're a part of, and when you meet another queer person, you talk about it and learn/teach another. Some of the flags aren't even agreed upon, I think there's 3 polyamorous flags.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you're interested, from L to R:

Bear, Pansexual, Non-Binary, Bisexual, Lesbian, the Progress flag (in a lot of queer spaces has replaced the regular rainbow flag), Gay Men's flag, Transgender, Asexual, Intersex, Straight Ally, Polyamorous Pride

As for how we keep up? We generally don't. If we see a flag we're not familiar with we either google it or ask the person flying it :)

To be fair, some of these are also very deep cuts, or only have relevance in regional areas.
