I've been playing nothing but Overwatch for months now, so obviously I had to go as McCree for Halloween.
Fan the hammer!
The pistol is the only part of this costume that came fully pre-assembled. The belt buckle, knee armor, and hatband details were all in a 3D-printed kit that I finished, and the clothing (including the chaps) was off-the-shelf. Everything else was scratch-built by me. Poncho was hand-painted, hand-distressed, and carefully sewn so that it drapes just like the one in-game. Chest armor and robot arm are carved from EVA foam and hot glue.
I even sewed, painted, and weathered the poncho by hand! It could probably stand to be a bit more beat-up, in retrospect.
