who uses tellers these days grampa?
themonkeyboy04
I did this today and i stopped to think that
RamenWithExtraNoodles
Hey! GIVE ME ALL my MONEY!
nickemartin123456
Why do you do basic withdrawals at the counter? That's for real business stuff.
smiletoday99
I did that last week it felt very strange
AlexanderReave
Oh, I always thought I'd so it eventually. Didn't think I'd only walk out of the bank with $34
88wut
“I prefer to rob the ATM”
Hugsfordrugs3
I never thought I would be cool with someone walking up to me in a mask asking me to give them all their money.. times do be a changing
NutellaJar0
Pro tip, just ask with a smile....
grendelgetskilledinthend
Now you can be arrested for NOT wearing a mask into the bank.
WitchOfTheNorthWest
kiddk00l
Lithom
You still use cash?
TheLimpinBiscuit
I first read that as "never in my wettest dream"
Still fits +1
Atomic2
"Give me all my money!"
Awesome +1
RolandTheLastGunSlinger
You have banks that are allowing people inside? Where do you live?
frogglogger
Nice font.
I had a headache so bad it made me into a jerk who wanted to spread the headache...
edenknitty
Right? It feels weird.
TechnicallyRight
Well you aren't, if you are in the lobby of a bank, either your stupid, they are stupid, or you both are trying to win a Darwin award.
Use the drive-thru. We aren't getting provided masks, gloves or anything, they tell use to wash hands every transaction we touch money.
Do you understand that despite this, people still want their money in under 30 seconds. We touch all businesses money from all panic shopers
I hate everyone and wish I didn't work at a bank.
allmypostsareofmydog
As a bank teller never have I imagined being completely cool with someone wearing a mask asking for money
what if they also have an immaculately filled-out withdrawal slip and photo ID?
Oh man if they had all that they would be a full package. Do you know how hard it is for people to fill out those damn slips?
People can barely spell their own name!
catskhiker
I did when I was 12 on an extremely cold winter day in a ski mask. Took it off at the door. They thought they were getting robbed.
by a child?
didn't know how old I was until I took off the mask.
Man child?
I'm 6'3" now 260lbs. It was winter then, so heavily clothed. Not a midget, even at 12
JennyIronTeeth
Have robberies increased? It is the perfect time.
PonyMadness
It's really not. With fewer people on the streets it'll be much easier for the cops to find someone matching your description
JHawke
White person, black rimmed glasses, average height, wearing medical mouth thingy. Even with less people I kinda don't see that working.
PhilMcrevice
Tellers are still getting Covid-19 handling YOUR cash...dont be a fuckwit, use your debit card or ATM and let them stay home...
in small business you need to have a float of mixed notes and coins not all people use cards. why be so much of a dick about it.
bacontender
I’m a banker/teller. I wish people followed this. I just wanna stay home and be safe, man...
I hear you, but of course you.need to risk your life because someone is afraid of of tech or wants to cash a $14 check yet have plenty of $$
That’s honestly the majority of the people coming in... mostly older people too, which is sad. 80% of all this can be done at an ATM/online
LupusIgnis
Why would anyone withdraw cash during a pandemic? Do you live in countries without contactless payment systems?
o4kill
Because our fancy 21st century delivery apps steal tips from their employee/contractors
DougHardle
When this was all starting, a lot of people came to get cash out of fear that the banks would close or that they couldn't access cash
OverpricedCrayon
I went to the back yesterday to withdraw a bunch of quarters so I could do my laundry, which is in the basement and cost money.
To buy weed / to not be tracked / for the meme.
Only people in Denmark to use cash are old people and criminals, so you are probably right.
Tbf, I still get paid cash quite often.. So I still spend cash quite often, but I see no banks :P
abrownangel2
To get out the house.
Kodaxmax
alotta people still use cash, atleast in australia.
A pandemic SHOULD make people think twice about that. Cash is an effective disease vector.
It should, but probably won't unfortunately.
fearlessfloyd
Felt that way first time I walked in the liquor store with a COVID-19 bandana, but of course they recognized me immediately, said "Hey!"
[deleted]
Cloth face cover in lieu of an approved mask.
SoftKleenex
What a wonderful kind of day, where you can learn to work and play
PuppyDontCare
My friend witnessed a robbery and saw the guy with gloves and a chinstrap
Where everybody knows your name - awesome!
Neotrup
Yeah, covid is rough. Making you way in the world today takes everything you got.
Nice!
Kbantar
Years ago, when it was a bit cold, I accidentally walked into a convenience store with a ski mask on. I must walk very nerdy. No reaction.
I hadn't seen anyone else wear a ski mask in the neighborhood, so it wasn't a common sight.
flappinmudbeans
There used to be these places people loved to go, I tell you kids, they were called bars and they were awesome. Then a Chinese guy ate a bat
dethcookie
OMG I'm dying at this comment
youknowthatonepersonwiththeface
I saw a guy yesterday at Kroger that I used to play pool with all the time. It's weird seeing barflies outside of their normal habitat.
TielKiri
I’m sure he’s saying the same thing about having met you~
No doubt. Actual photo of me right now
FlissFloss86Gaming
People still go to banks? Like...physical ones? Do they stop by the Blockbuster first to rent a VHS?
A couple of times per year it seems something comes up to make it necessary.
hawkesnightmare
Most things besides using your debit card require an in person visit.
I work for a credit union. We're still open. We limit the number of people inside, everyone is wearing a mask. It's strange times.
IrishPub
Same. It's mostly old people, right?
Yep
LokiKingOfJotunheim
I have gone inside before. Normally I use the drive-up ATM or the drive-thru window when I had a check I couldn't deposit using my phone...
GodzillaHarddiskson
Check? Deposit? Cash? What the hell, when are you planning on joining us in the 21st century?
I got a check in the mail. It was from my dividends I think. For some reason they changed the format of the check so even the drive-thru 1/2
ATM wouldn't let me deposit the check... It was less than $20 if I remember right. Normally I just use my bank's app on my phone... 2/2
KnownSecretCarrot
You can go in!? I'm stuck with drive thru or ATM. I have to schedule an appointment for anything inside.
spongerX
My local banks make you pull the mask down before entry and when in front tellers. I haven't been in to a bank in weeks
DumbandConfused
My local banks are closed. Atm only. There is ONE location still open though, but I don't want to drive way out there.
JennAndJuice9
Bank teller here. Working 44 hours a week.
totesamaze
Branch banker here! Same on this front. But at least we get a bonus and hazardous duty pay!
Hold up... you got hazard pay? Wtf?
Yah $50 a day for all employees
Thank you! I hope they raised your pay to reflect you are essentially expendable...
animalialuna
ER veterinary nurse here- no hazard pay for us. Hours are cut for many of us too.
Thank you for your hard work! Sorry about the pay- did you get your stimulus check yet or file for unemployment benefits?
When we file taxes we don't do direct deposit, so the check won't be here for several weeks to months. The wait for unemployment to //

Also remain Cole
John20012
Well, get started with a .22 and slowly work your way up to create immunity....
