Guys.
I'm probably in shock still. But I needed to get this out. Probably wrong meme I don't know I've never made one like this sorry

I work at ahalfway house. A good one, there's a lot of shitty ones where I am but mines a good one. No insurance scams or fraud just people that actually care.

I was a client here and I've been staff as a house manager for 9months.

I celebrated 2 years clean yesterday.

Part of my job is curfew checks and this girl was on early curfew but didn't call in like supposed to. I did the usual, text, no answer..call..no answer..
Not too concerned since usually the girl just fell asleep so we pop in to their apartment and check.

We don't have locks on the bathroom doors.
When I saw her I knew it was too late but I called 911 and started cpr.

I was pretty hysterical and alone but the other manager was in her apt next door so I was able to call her from my personal phone while on the phone w 911 on my work phone and doing cpr.
It's been 3hrs and the coroner is coming.
This girl always said "love you" to me and I try to stay more professional with the girls but couldn't help but say it back, she was loved and had been here fighting her demons for a few months.
I guess she's at peace now.
