WWF No Mercy was released for the Nintendo 64 in November, 2000.

It was the last in a line-up of 3D pro-wrestling video games by Japanese developer AKI for the N64.

You could play as over 60 past and current WWF wrestlers and there was a robust (for the time) create-a-wrestler feature.

I LOVED No Mercy as a kid. I always brought it sleep-overs where my friends and I would play it for hours, especially the Royal Rumble mode. We really went nuts with it once we figured out you could over-write all of the character slots with your created characters.

Recently, I had my wife try playing it. She didn't like wrestling or video games growing up, so it was completely foreign to her. She tried the story mode a bit and then we created ourselves as wrestlers and had a match. You can watch the whole thing and hear her thoughts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MWdT6JGMKc&t=909s

What 90s or early 00s game should I have her try next? Other wrestling games? Something totally different?

I got this for Christmas when it came out, unfortunately I had got one of the bugged PAL versions of the game. Still a lot of fun though.
