That escalated quickly

#memes #flight #parents #hurryup

“That’s a very bad idea” guy Is me at work when a customer is doing something stupid or against our rules

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a very bad idea he said

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's because parents have lived long enough to have missed a flight because of something unexpected

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When an Irishman tells you something is a very bad idea... it's a very bad idea.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a flight attendant I wish more people took making their connections more seriously.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What a dickhead

6 years ago | Likes 330 Dislikes 1

Common is usually so much nicer. But hey, his flight does leave in only 5 hours

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great deflection by the person at the front of the queue tho! Saved a lot of booboos

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At least it looks like the only person hurt was himself. Still a dick though.

6 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Exactly he could have really hurt a lot of people if they started falling. Rule# 1 arse around by all means but only endanger yourself.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Like that one chase scene in Hardcore Henry and the protagonist just kind of accidentally tackles down a woman.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, it's a two hour drive from my house, airport security at the place is a bitch and there's a *really* good sit-down restaurant there.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My wife is like this. Oh and when you get start boaring she gets in the line. Even standing at the end with empty chairs around us. ARG

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My parents always want to be at the airport way earlier than normal, I just tell people its because they are on a government watchlist

My sister gave me shit for trying to hurry her up to get to the airport. Telling me I was stressing her out. She missed the flight.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In 97 I was in a flooding subway, the stairs were still working with cascading water, slipped and hit a corner with my knee.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Warsaw subway opened that year, and we had giant floods that year, turns out the subway wasn't rain proofed properly.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That DEescalated quickly.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now missed the flight because he has a gash in his head

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Between 0:01 and 0:02 he gets pushed to the floor by a man

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That deescalated quickly.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tripped on an escalator one time, those corners go right in

6 years ago | Likes 472 Dislikes 1

Me too but the corners folded in on themselves.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Happened to me in a shopping mall when I was a kid. Went into a store afterwards and felt blood running down my leg. Still have the scar.

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Those corners are called teeth

6 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Yup. Missed a step once running up, I could see my tibia when I managed to stop the bleeding. Still feel a dent in the bone 20 years later.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I still have a big dent in my knee from one.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fuuuuck.... tried to scroll past and clicked the link. Loaded immediately (thanks for nothing super fast internet) and that is a bad time...

Tripping on the escalator is the worst. Nothing like falling down 49 flights of stairs.

6 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 0

That are metal and sharp

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Fall slowly and the stair count is 50... 51... 52... 53...

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That’s a very bad idea

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Understatement of the hour lmao

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what is he doing?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That escalatored quickly.

6 years ago | Likes 267 Dislikes 4

This made me laugh more than I’d like to admit.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stairway to heaven

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually made me laugh out loud

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sorry for the convenience

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought he did a good job deescalating the situation.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

“Clever pun”

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First watch I thought he wasn't wearing trousers

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never hurry on an escalator, never jump in an elevator. And if either seems full, wait or take the stairs. Escalator in freefall is no joke.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a very bad idea. And quite a poor execution.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"that's a very bad idea" *HOWLER MONKEY NOISES*

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but if you need to board near NYC then 5 hours isn't a bad buffer for traffic, just sayin...

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

In Kansas City, you can show up less than an hour until flight time and be fine. It’s 20 minutes to get from parking to gate. Love it here.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but you have to live in Kansas City. Pass.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

cool story bro

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Love that airport, too bad they're replacing it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I showed up 90 minutes before my flight in Dallas once, and still missed it because of the bottleneck known as the security check

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well it’s 2 hours domestic, and 3 hours int’l so that’s on you

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Good thing they stop terrorists and aren't just there for security theater!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess I should have paid for tsa+

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a dumb ass

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hate these memes because it’s literally what you’re supposed to do. 3 hours int’l, 2 hours domestic. Buffers, traffic etc = close to 5 hours

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Yeah I don't get it. Flights are expensive and I'd rather waste time at the airport than miss my flight due to traffic/transport delays.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is literally what you're supposed to do? Jump head first down the escalator?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

You got me, I misused “literally”, damn it

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's ok. I still like you.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TAMALICA IS COMIN!

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

TAMLAMICA!

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's like the human being example of why cops avoid high speed pursuits in traffic.

6 years ago | Likes 143 Dislikes 2

American cops don't. High speed chase? Fuck yeah, maybe we'll get on the news!

6 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 11

Right, well, you’re wrong.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The news seems to suggest otherwise.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Uuuugh. It disgusts me that you are most likely correct on that.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

They are not correct...but the blind hatred is just fascinating.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I live iin the US...this has been a common rule for a long time. Try not to hate so blindly.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And yet it still happens all the time. It's almost like too many cops think they're above the law.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sure what state you're in, but most US police agencies have a policy to not engage in high-speed pursuits if there are cars/people near.

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 4

Lmao im sure the police in that fuck hole country have alot of 'policys' that they definitely follow. They shot any unarmed dudes recently?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 9

Jesus imgur is way to anti cop lately.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Cops are way too shooty shooty STOP RESISTING SIR/u got a loitering loicence m8, lately

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

That's because there are WAY too many bad ones. And before you go quoting some statistic, I don't care what it is, it's too many.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Shhh let them circle jerk about America, it keeps them from realizing their own countries problems

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 21

Don't seem to hear much about Brexit lately, do we? I guess it got Corona virus'ed off the front page.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yea, we have problems and random shootings or spending all the money you have on one pill is very much not among them.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

....Because an American would never have anything negative to say about America.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Exactly. Californian here; I have a LOT of negative things to say about our government. Kinda hard to find good things some days.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every country has problems, let's not pretend there aren't any circle jerking exaggerated patriotism in all countries.
