Or by creating an opportunity for a child to study faces and learn how to read joy and sadness in the people they love best. Children learn empathy through modeling and teaching. If the little one hadn’t seen the inequity and remedied it, a simple “Daddy looks sad. Why is daddy sad? How can we help daddy feel less sad?” would have been a lesson in caring and sharing.

I was playin. This would actually be a great learning experience. Just not a reflection at the time of whether the parents are good. The reward for passing the test is learning just as much as there would be learning for not passing the test
