Great gifs, moronic subtitles ruin it.

#9 unfortunately, the principle of why the Chicago pressure cooker bomb attack was so "successful".The concussive force is much much higher.

Can I get a upvote gif of that detonation gif

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That first one, a corvette c2 turned into a dragster.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah everyday things. Like when I hope in my racecar, dodge some bullets and broken glass, watch my pal Pablo get punched, and explodey tent

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

All with a rattlesnake in your boot.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just the right about of slow... You slut

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The wobble in the arrow is the only thing that makes it shoot straight. Called the Archers Paradox. Worth a google.

The good, the bad and the What The Fuck!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are awesome but the match...

Don't forget sauce: https://www.youtube.com/user/theslowmoguys. Most - not all - of the gifs are taken from their videos.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tuning fork in water certainly is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Em... everyday things?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You must live an amazing life if these are everyday things! I do maybe one or two of these things daily

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

I too launch missiles and go drag racing every day.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah me too. I also pop weather balloons at 24 miles up.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The first one reminds of the Fuel video.

#15 Know that I am the Overmind; the eternal will of the Swarm, and that you have been created to serve me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Overmind wasn't a bad dude, just forced by Amon to assimilate everything, then made plans to attempt to stop him

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These were fun, thanks OP!

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 3

pornhub has some slow mo films too....

Who would wanna watch slow porn?

#1: The dragster tires are DESIGNED to fold up like this. prevents the tyre from spinning out on either the wheel or the street.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bias ply's will do this, drag radials won't. Same thing, but a clear distinction as radials are becoming very big with modern automatics

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that have launch control.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Heeeey, knowledge!, Thanks :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the captions are cringey tho...

I honestly hate that clip. Firstly, the old impala's frame is clearly rusted to shit, and secondly they removed the engine and (1)

True facts.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

where some assclowns talk for 5 minutes about stupid shit before they get to the slow mo stuff?

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Well

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're just a bit slow to get to the point.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fuck you. +1

I still have quaestions

It's made by ACME

I remember last time this was posted someone claimed it was a riot grenade designed to distribute teargas, so that's not a steel shell.

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

I think you're right: it seems like a plastic case, to me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This makes the most sense to me.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I don't buy that. Gas canisters burn slowly making a thick fog

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Some do. I don't know exactly what sort of riot grenade, but the point is that it's a plastic case, not a steel case.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like how many grenades we're looking at. I thought it was two angles of one grenade but unless its strong enough to explode across frames...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Its just really good editing it is just 2 camera angles

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Looks like a mirror or steel plate set at 45 degrees...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You know, your right I'm sure it is a mirror, I didn't even think about that

An encyclopaedia may help.

Shit it Ted mosby

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course it would, but this is imgur ... where we are entitled to being spoon fed

I think they were just suggesting an encyclopaedia may answer their queastions.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

whats that?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did back in 1958. You had to carry a package of them to take 6 pictures!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

used them for their intended use, and un-intended uses

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*raises hand*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to charge up huge capacitors and use them to blow out old lightbulbs, so kind of.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've used them many years ago before every smartphone had an amazing digital camera.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a kid. I'm not 50 yet. Also had an 8mm silent video camera. And a TRS-80 I backed up to audio cassettes (saving Poltergeist games.)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*raises hand*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have. I also remember the flash cubes!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to throw Magicubes on the ground as ninja flash bombs!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

it was when i was around 5-6 yrs old. we found an old Kodiak camera in the garage. my uncle fixed it up and i played with it for hrs.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used to have one of the little cameras with the strip bulbs that looked a bit like an ice cube tray

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'd forgotten that kind.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aye! Still use them on my Land Cameras. Or, I used them until I run out of film because they stopped making it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Under 20 here. My dad and I set a few off when I was little.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Raising my hand...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I forget what kind of camera I had, but the flash was a cube with 4 time-time flashes on it that you replaced after each was used.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Majored in photography, with a focus on analog processes. I've used one.

Sitting here explaining both the flash bulb and the camera to my son.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

22 yo, been using flash bulbs since I was 16

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My parents have always been into photography and so that got me into it also

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I used the Kodak flash cubes. Four bulbs in one. Genius marketing.

8 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

I had those too with my Instamatic camera :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had those!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Go you!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Me too

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Yup. I still have some around here somewhere. Not the cubes, either. Actual one-use bulbs.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lego have nothing on stepping on a flash cube.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too. I'm old, what's your excuse?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Something about being brave enough. Sorry I am old too man don't remember it well.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

individual, cube you could turn four times, bar type use for Polaroid one step...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There are actually lots of people over 30 on imgur. Probably all of them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can confirm 35 have used disposable flash bulbs

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes all of the people over 30 are on imgur.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

woosh.

My first camera (mid 80's) had them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Flashcubes were still pretty widely on the market in the 90s. I used them in high school in and around '98.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm 29. Used them as a little kid.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My mom still has her old camera from the 70s which uses flash bulbs

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We still used them in the 80s

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They had them on Kodak cameras in the 80s. They would rotate 90° after you took the picture, 4 flashes per cube.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Then you also had the light bars, would get hot as hell if you took more than a couple pics in quick succession.

Over thirty was what OP said.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If they got a camera as a kid, it was likely a discarded one from the parents.
