Teddybears are a rock/electronica group based out of Stockholm, Sweden. They've been active since ~1991 and have six studio albums with the most recent having been released in 2016. Every now and then this particular track floats through my playlists and I figured that not a lot of people might actually know the Teddybears — or rather that they might and may not know it.

@stardustLUST has also been posting some really fun tracks to take you back down memory lane, but there's no fixed tag for their stuff so you'll just have to go looking!

--- Day 348 - 1 day of protest

These #ListenUp posts are my way of hopefully helping a few people discover some new (or forgotten!) music and getting involved with the imgur community. I try to post regularly, so keep an eye open if you're into it. Comment down below if you have an opinion on today's music or if there's one (just one, please!) song you'd recommend I check out.

Cheers!

You might know Teddybears better for this one. If you don't recognize it immediately, you should by the end.

Nori tax!

Nori got a brand new dog bed from her "grandma" and "great grandma" (my mother and grandmother) for the holidays. She enjoyed it very much. Clearly, a little TOO much.

R.I.P. dog bed, you were immediately missed by Nori.

Good stuff! And I love Iggy. I've had the pleasure of seeing him in all of the stages of my life. I can't get in the pit anymore, and he mostly stands on stage now with his grandkid running about.

#2 ok, Is this from Bawitdaba or did Kid Rock lift it from them?

Bawitdaba came out in 1999, this one came out in… 2006 I think? So they must have sampled it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That song is so catchy, but I had no idea that it was Iggy Pop. Real cool.

Here's a song off an album I consider perfect. One that you can turn on and never skip a song. It held such a lofty standard that I never listened to anything else by the band cause I always just thought, yeah but I could be listening to this first album. I'm sure they are good, I'm just tunnel focused.

The switch-up about 30s in on this one? Ooh, nice. Then about 2 mins in they have that layering effect on the vocals? Super dope! This one's a really cool track. House of Heroes is ANOTHER one that's completely new to me, so I'm looking forward to giving this whole album a listen! Thank you!

It’s not Iggy Pop. It’s a teddy bears song released in 2000; I listened to them a lot back then and saw them live a few times. I guess they did a collab with Iggy to release a new version at some point.
