My work boots have been in my closet for a few weeks, I simply set them in the kitchen sink by the door to wipe them off. In all fairness the souls have some sand and dirt on them but very minor and they are sitting the grate that I clean often. Btw we are both drinking and we think this is funny,
As a guy I think this is nothing.
My wife thinks I am dirty and disgusting for doing this.
All opinions welcome.

as a guy, why put your shoes in the fucking sink?

This is why you can’t eat food from just anyone’s house.

Shoes in kitchen sink? Never. That's a beating right there.

That seems dumb. Rinse them off outside with a hose like a real man

Kitchen sink? NO. Laundry room sink? YES.

And now your boots have turned into ice? Turning frosty there.

You should wash your sink before and after doing dishes (some of us actually wash dishes by hand)

Oh hell no!!!! Not a husband or wife thing just hygiene and common sense - don’t do put your fucking shoes on surfaces in the kitchen!

Unless you shovel manure for a job, not a big deal. Just clean the sink before using it to wash dishes or clean food.

Maybe next time clean them in the tub.

If you’ve ever rinsed a chicken or turkey in that sink, then it’s seen way worse than your boots.

There’s nothing in dirt and sand that’ll be worse than bacteria from old food, dishes

Is there a hole in your sink covered with packing tape?

Yes, it’s the best repair method until the new one comes.
