Kitty doesn't even know what scritches are but knows not to lose them. ❤️️

Have to teach them young that tail touch is good and not a bad thing. Same with belly rubs. Do not rough house a kitten. Preschool is for trust building.

Sometimes I am amazed that culturally, we've mostly forgotten about domesticated pigeons (as pets, not homing pigeons). I was very surprised when I found out that it had been popular for a long time.

This is basically why every animal decided to become domesticated, we could scratch them in the places they couldn't reach.

Honestly, the amount of very not domesticated animals I've seen who have figured out we're useful for scritches and general thumb-having tasks never ceases to amaze me.

I will kill you and a little to left. and all your family!

Well, most of them were forced to. Dogs and cats are the exceptions. The rest we just captured and kept.

If I didn't imply choice, the joke wouldn't have worked.

Came here to say exactly that, "decided to". Almost like blacks "decided" to become slaves

if there was an ethical way to do so, i'd like a cheetah as a pet.

I want a skunk pet so bad. I hope one day I can be a rehabber and get lucky enough to rehab/rescue one.

Given how endangered they are it might be unethical NOT to take in a cheetah

OR maybe to take in 12 genetically diverse pairs!
