Wanted to update you all,
Logins are completed and working we've decided to allow everyone to login how they want to login (registration, facebook, google, twitter, yahoo or imgur) but you will need to connect to an imgur account to use the site.
This is to make sure if imgur is down you can still access the site.
We've made a start on the profile functionality (updating / searching etc) and should have that completed by Tuesday next week.
We have also decided on a name and another imgurian has been kind enough to provide the domain. The name contains the word "imgur" so we have also sent an e-mail to the owners of imgur to make sure they are happy with us using this name.
Finally: Initial server will be in America! but we will use CDN's and smaller servers to balance the load better for the rest of the world
Anyone, once it's confirmed we'll update you all again, until then
message me any questions you have.
