My dog kept trying to get in my son's swing when we first got it. Took a while to convince him he's 50lbs over the weight limit.

That brat makes me so angry! I hope that cat didn't get beat for defending itself.

This won't happen, if your kid isn't an asshole.

Hate this video the parents told him to hit the cat

Look at that kids face just before he hit.. goaded perhaps. Hopefully he's learned to make his own choices.

I know, right? It's not like the kid hit a dog!

I used to be so scared that my 13-lb Shorkie would nip at my son....now I just think “go ahead, teach him a lesson”.

We are vigilant about him being good to the dog but he’s 2 and they don’t always listen:(

Good dogs/pets will usually only nip to warn you to back off. Strange animals you should always worry about.

My boy is 5. He *always* asks permission first, and I'm always there with one hand on the dogs chest, another on its back. Prevention>cure

Is the cat able to keep it swinging on it's own?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s electric. Swings itself.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The swing. Not the cat.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Maybe the cat, you don't know. That's why they lay in the sun, secret solar panels

Ha!! Made me laugh :-)

Please don't mix your baby with cat fur

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 22

like in a blender?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Why?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I dunno just seems gross

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 10

Honestly? I'd say make sure they aren't allergic first since hair allergies are pretty common for babies.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Other way around---babies who are raised with pets have much less likelihood of having allergies. Same goes for early intro w/ foods.

I mean sometimes. My baby sister was born and we had all sorts of animals and she was allergic to dogs, cats and birds.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's too bad--hope she grew out of those. Can you grow out of pet allergies like you can with foods? I'll have to research that!
