He saved a tortoise, he's a good guy imo.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Let's hope he didn't just drop it off in the nearest river or lake. Tortoises can't swim.

Now reverse it

good man!

Really glad this didn’t end with the clip of someone throwing a tortoise off a dock.

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Tbh if I were him I would have filmed myself throwing a similarly sized rock off a dock then spliced it together.

A turtle has made it to the water

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

really surprised this was this far down

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now that turtle has to cross the road all over again. It took him all morning to get that far.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is actually true sorta...you're supposed to move a turtle in the direction it's facing, or it will keep trying.

they are stubborn little fuckers

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That person is a good person.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That a gopher tortoise? Those are semi-endangered. Good on him for saving it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I swear I thought he parked and ran it back to the street. Nope. Gif looped

I like that he minds tilting the little thing when running.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There will be a reversed version soon i am sure.

Dont look up

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Love the effort, but would not risk my life for a turtle. Lights could have changed at any time

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Man people hating on you for valuing human life over a turtle

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

lol right?!?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Good on him. I saw a guy help push a taxi that stalled in the road today. It's been a decent day for humanity.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i am impressed that he was not shot. he was running and he is black.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All tortoises are turtles.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

It is only the generic term in the US.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

In the UK turtle is only for marine species, tortoise for land species, and terrapin for smaller, fresh water species.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In Swedish they're called shieldtoads. Landshieldtoads and seashieldtoads.

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was going to say the same thing. I am from Denmark. Hi

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a fuckin turtle that's a fuckin tortoise

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Neither of those are scientific terms, and are used differently in different regions. There's no absolute "correct" usage.
