It's a jet boat. Inboard motors still have drive legs that come way down, same as outboards
Not way down, very shallow and most drives have a shock absorber system that can take some punishment. At least from a show I've seen.
I've owned several of both, inboard drives come down below the hull the same as outboard ones. The hydraulics absorb a small amount
OK. The show I watched was made for Alaska jet boats. A reality show about gold mining or living off the grid. Pretty specialized, I guess.
