Tump wants it to last past the midterm elections to declare a national emergency. If Trump cancels the midterms would this not make all the 535 members of congress unelected ? Congress by law only has a two year term. Half the senate would be void as well their term is six years.

Weird that attacking a country we'd been threatening to attack for decades is turning out to be difficult. Almost like they may have been preparing for it. I mean, the drones that Russia has been using are Iranian. we have several million members of the military, and our police have tanks and assault rifles. On top of that, most of our populace lives so far away from the seats of power, they couldn't get there without more money and resources that are available to them.

There will come a breaking point where people are just forced to park their cars because they can't afford to go to work; only those with hybrid and electrical ones might be in luck. But electricity will usually go up, in my experience. And that's not just in the US; it applies to Europe too. I wonder how long it'll take before China starts interfering.
