Taught my old dog how to climb into the car through the (lower) front seat like this once she couldn't jump into the (higher) backseat anymore. Showed her all the safe places she could put her feet to get in without jumping.
Yesterday I showed one of my crows how to drag the water bowl to a tree stump and prop it up to be able to drink from it even if it was just a little left. Usually they work these things out for themselves, but this one is a little impatient and more often reacts with frustration (just yeeting the bowl). I put the bowl down again and she repeated the trick immediately and got real excited about herself for doing it! This type of communication is really effective, and SO COOL!
We bought one to keep the puppy out of the bathroom, where the cat litter box was, and I had to teach my cat that he could jump over it. By himself he kept just trying to squish through the bars, but his head was too big. Took 2 or 3 times of me holding him at the bottom, lifting him so his feet were all brushing at the top, then lowering him to the floor on the other side. Then he finally got it! (we bought one with a smaller kitty gate when he got older and I started worrying about his joints)

Who's the drawing artist? Is it the same one who drew the fireman saving a kitty on a ledge?

That is just delightful.

Probably easier than to teach the dog to stay away from the cat litter box.
fivefootone
It is not. Our dog would follow the cat whenever he moved in the direction of the bathroom to get his treats while they were still fresh and warm

What's the elephant one? The baby elephant taking its first bath?

The elephant mourning it's deceased partner..

Oh I actually just ran into that one a couple hours ago, between my comment and your reply. Yeah, that definitely hits you
