It was a stressful year. I work in public education. The expectations are unreal.
Edit: I'm not proud of myself for playing this game. Hence the confession bear. Geez. I have an iPad. What are my options? Really. I'm open to video game suggestions. I'm not a video game player and just decided to start somewhere.

Normally I'd agree, but some games are just a black hole that sucks you into a bad mood and keeps you there until you're sucked dry of funds or will to function whatever comes first. Raid is precisely such a game, there are much better free alternatives out there. Layton's Mystery Journey, Reigns, Legends of Runeterra, Slice & Dice, SSSnaker, Teamfight Tactics, Pokemon Unite, Street Fighter Duel, Marvel Snap and so much more that's at least decent.

@op also in public ed, same vibes here! Wife is sick too so we're just cuddling with puppy and making easy meals. Anyway I highly recommend Kingdom Rush series on an iPad, not free but it's my favorite mobile game series. Cartoon tower defense with lots of character. Second one has an Assassin's guild building upgrade, lots of references all over too though.

is ipad all you have for gaming? a quick search says at least bastion, darkest dungeon, dont starve, FTL, stardew valley, transistor and baba is you are available for ipad. i mention these because i know theyre generally considered good games. i can personally vouch for baba is you and transistor only, but i played them on pc.

I’d recommend Sandship if you like factorio-like stuff. (Building and automating factories) and The Trail if you like a sorta Oregon trail-ish survival lite game that blossoms into town building. And of course the ever majestic, beautiful, and delightful Sky: Children of the Light. That game I cannot recommend enough. It’s a breathtaking masterpiece. I’m not a super big gamer either but those three are kinda fun imo <3

I play it, it's sorta fun. But it's a damn money sucker. So if you want to try it, be warned! They bomb you with advertisement in the game. But it has a nice strategic touch in building the best teams for every dungeon/challenge.

its horribly pay to win. i goofed with it for abit when it 1st came out and its a grind fest. the drop rates for even middling blues is shite. play arknights instead, they are damn generous and the music is great.
