Pokemon Go Apricorns!

Pokeballs

Since Pokemon Gold/Silver there have been an addition of a great number of different pokeballs to the games.

Apricorn

This is an Apricorn. Apricorns special fruits that are native to the Johto region. They appear to be related to Berries, and are encountered only in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

Apricorn Collection

In the games/anime you would collect apricorns and bring them to to a man named Kurt, who was basically a pokeball blacksmith to craft pokeballs.

Apricorn Colors

These Apricorns came in 7 different colors each one creating a different type of pokeballs, which were more proficient at capturing different types of Pokemon.

Fastballs

For example during the anime Kurt gives Ash, Misty, and Brock each one fastball. Fast balls are made from red Apricorns which are used to catch Pokémon which run away quickly and easily. Given how quickly Pokemon seem to flee these days, these could come in useful in Pokemon Go.

Apricorns in Game

Adding Apricorn trees to the game would add an extra feature. Something to grab anywhere you would find trees.

Apricorn Minigame

The game is about encouraging you to get outdoors. But it would be nice if you had something to do in idle time. Crafting your own pokeballs from collected Apricorns with a small minigame would give Trainers something fun to do when you can't be out catching them all.
