Where are the people who pulled the trigger? Oh right.. *checks notes* the federal government put them in witness protection and are hiding them.

If I know anything about the US legal system, this will end in no convictions and take 5 years to reach that point.

And nothing will come of it. Watch and see.

Suing them doesn't change anything. Topple the tyrants!

Lawsuits and protests are what will change things. Be sure to stand among the 10 million this Saturday at the No Kings protest. Be part of history and always be able to say you were there and actually did something about all this. Visit https://nokings.org for info.

They're simply suing for access to the evidence. (shouldn't have been denied it in the first place) For a future case.

It's an incremental step. After the damage has been done. I'll hope for progress, but like we're seeing again and again there's no 'checks & balances' stopping the authoritarian violations.

There have been a few effective checks and we can't give up yet. People are resisting effectively, join them.

It feels like I've been waiting forever. The deadline the Hennepin County Attorney's Office gave the DOJ and DHS to provide the evidence they requested for state-level charges passed three fucking weeks ago. The FBI also ignored the Minnesota's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension's demands for evidence as well.

Instead, the DOJ said back then that the FBI will investigate the DHS. An executive agency hired an executive agency to investigate an executive agency and we haven't heard anything since.
