It started with a color scheme
The color scheme can be seen here. Two walls are dark grey, two are light grey. But the important part her is the ultra comfy red lounge chair and the minimalist console setup. I HIGHLY recommend this type of chair. I think it's called a Pressback Chaise Lounge.
I painted PVC pipes green, then used them to hide the cables. I was going for a Super Mario pipes feel. I'll eventually extend the right side all the way to the computer desk. As I (if I) get more consoles, I'll have more pipes and shelves. I think it could end up looking pretty cool.
The game shelf. I'm not a collector, so I don't keep too many games around. Still a good selection of games, I think.
I have a weird thing for video game soda tie-ins. Also a weird thing for books.
Especially video game books. Also learning C# and Unity3D.

Mostly contemporary noir. Some call it transgressive. Chuck Palahniuk and Brian Evanson, I take a lot of inspiration from them.
