The GOP finally begin to throw Trump under the bus.

Too bad Kennedy is going to be forced to backtrack and kiss the ring tomorrow.

It doesn't matter. No Republican will ever hear about this. And if they do it will be dismissed as quickly as a fart in the wind

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All republicans need to go! They could have stopped a lot of this shit! Instead they let trump do whatever he wants! While lying to the American people saying it’s democratically! Don’t understand how these people sleep at night!

The more adamant the Trump administration becomes about needing the "SAVE" act, the more concerned we should all be about it.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

if the Dems had offered to fund his precious ICE but not the rest, Trump would have taken that deal before Thune finished his sentence

I believe it when he has tire marks.

Isn't this like Trump's fifth government shutdown?

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"No deals with the democrats". How shocking/s. The GOP has been playing this bullshit game since Obama was in office.

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Jeez, if only there was a way to bypass a president's veto and ignore his temper tantrums, if only.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

remember how trump's supposed to be this master negotiator but his one trick is to be a fucking obnoxious bully, and when that doesn't work he has no more cards to play

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

chuck schumer will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again by the way, and i hope we're all emotionally prepared for that because it is coming

How to Beat Trump https://booknest.blog/top-political-strategists.html

2 days ago | Likes 208 Dislikes 2

It seems like the best way to beat him is like a 4 year old. Tell him “oh man I really want the exact opposite is what I actually want!” Then he’ll do what you want to spite you

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's "how to beat Trump in 2020," which we already did, and look where we are now.

Should just post a magnet link, helping anyone get rich off of politics is a major part of why we're in this mess.

He looks like my grandma and talks like a cartoon chicken lawyer.

That's Senator "Foghorn Leghorn" Kennedy from Louisiana.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's ancient, he's dementia ridden, he's the most toxic president they've ever had HANDS DOWN, NO contest, and they know the midterms are in jeopardy (unless they succeed at rigging it via ICE thugs, etc.) so, idk, maybe they might be getting ready to jettison him through the 20th/25th(?) Amendment and install JV Dunce as their replacement stooge. Just a guess based on little other than observation over the last year or so.

They want Trump to last two years and a day to legally get ten years of Vance.

2 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Luckily JD Vance has about as much respect as Trump deserves.

Wake up and dump the Drumph already, geez what’s with these pedo prrotectors?

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It would set a precedent that anyone in power really has to face consequences, and the system isn't designed for that.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

The system is completely designed for that, but unfortunately the system assumes the ones wi5h 5he authority will be decent, responsible human beings. With the GOP majority this has not been the case.

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I look forward to Dems caving again in exchange for nothing just like they did last time. And the time before. And the time before. And the time before. And...

2 days ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 6

to be fair they got promised a vote! in one of the houses, that was doomed, and never got it in the other house of congress, and everyone knew was going to never happen, and never pass... so you can't say they got nothing!

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, dont be mean. They sent a strongly worded letter! They can't possibly be expected to do more... (/s)

2 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

"we just didn't have the votes and refused to do anything for the past sixty years to get them" -- Democrats.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haven't the Dems offered an "everything but ICE" deal 5 or 6 times now?

2 days ago | Likes 251 Dislikes 6

6 7 times

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If there was a human being in the Republican party, they would pass it and then override the veto.

2 days ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

2 days ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Well, they made him King so now they gotta live with that.

2 days ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

They don't, though. His semi-autocracy really still rests on both other branches of government being complicit, and if either one actually pushes back his power shrinks a lot.

2 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Eleven. Eleven times.

2 days ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 0

So 5 plus 6.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you for the correction.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

2 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They're only turning on him because they see the writing on the wall and they want to save their own asses. The current regime is guilty of war crimes & crimes against humanity (among other things) and the GOP has been complicit accessories to those crimes. Now that they see they will end up facing consequences before Trump can eliminate all their opponents some of them are trying to save their own hides by turning on Trump in hopes they get a lighter sentence (or let off the hook entirely). 1/2

2 days ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 2

That's not true. They're only turning because they know he's only got a few years left and they can't suckle at his teats anymore, so they need the next thing to ensure they stay elected.

2 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Some fucking invisible ink. Writings been on the wall for a long time now. This is something else. Likely to do with their investments.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Reelections. A lot of them are going to lose their seats if up this year. And Trump has been hoarding the RNC chest and not giving out campaign funding though I don’t know how he has control over that but it’s pissing Republicans off.

As someone who has survived decades of abuse I recognize this tactic all too well. And sadly it works far too often. Largely because so many decent people tend to lack the spine to hold bad guys accountable if they act like they've "seen the light". 2/2

2 days ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

You are absolutely correct. And I'm sorry that happened to you hope you are doing well.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anyone who has seen the light should welcome punishment. Anyone who doesn't hasn't seen the light.

2 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

while they shouldn't be let off the hook they should be let off lighter, not because anyone should believe they've learned but because we shouldn't discourage the next fascist's sidekicks from turning. they're still scum, but if their selfishness can help make things a little easier for everyone - yes, even if we're talking about problems they caused - i think the wellbeing of the masses and integrity of society are more important than punishing the guilty to the fullest extent

2 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

In order for someone to be deserving of a lighter sentence they need to ACTUALLY be remorseful of their actions. And these people are NOT remorseful. How do I know this? Because I survived decades of abuse at the hands of more people than I can count. Enough to culminate in catastrophic harm to myself. I had to become intimately familiar with how the minds people like these work as a survival means. I can say with certainty that these people are not remorseful. 1/2

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

right, but my point is that doesn't matter because it's more important to encourage remorseless psychopaths to do the right thing even if entirely out of self interest than to punish them for being remorseless psychopaths (which is still important, mind you). i'm not saying they DESERVE a lighter punishment, i'm saying the wellbeing of the rest of us takes priority over their rightful suffering

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People like this routinely put on an act of "seeing the light" anytime they're afraid they will face consequences. The moment they no longer feel like they're in danger of facing those consequences they always resume being monsters. Conservatives in the US have been doing this repeatedly for generations. And it's precisely because of people who keep wanting to believe their act or let them off easy that things have gotten to this point. 2/2
