Just had to watch the last moments of my ex father in laws life pass by. I had to watch as my daughter, ex wife, and brother in law spent the last hour with him. I had to listen to the cries and see the tears of all of us. He went in before Christmas and was quarantined until today when they allowed us in to say goodbye. He had preexisting conditions that could not fight off the effects of Covid. Nobody deserves to die like this. Gasping for air from his Covid destroyed lungs. I had Covid in early July and I knew how bad it was going to get just from my experience. Sorry for the long spill but now he's just another statistic in this awful pandemic. Mask up. Wash your hands. Social distance. Get vaccinated. And lastly, love one and other.
