There was a 60s show that I saw in reruns as a kid called Daktari that featured lions on a regular basis (it was set on a national park somewhere in Africa). My cat would watch it with me.
Did you take a chance buying it or you knew that your cats would use it? Thinking of buying one for my girl because she frequently gets the zoomies and runs from one end of the home to other, but she's not super active outside of those bursts of energy.
There was definitely an element of chance involved. Luckily 3 out of 4 cats learned how to use it. Two, both boys, just started using it on their own. The girl learned it from them. I had the wheel just laying on it's side for the first week and incorporated it into their playtime so they'd start to think of it as a plaything. Though none of mine really run on it, it's more like they're taking a walk lol. The girl does run sometimes but it's rare.
Gotcha, cheers for the answer. I guess I wouldn't mind too much whether she'd run or walk on it, as long as she'd use it and burn some energy and/or get some entertainment out of it.

I guess if your cat can walk on a treadmill it can also watch TV.

What channel is that? I keep trying to find a show that's just cats to put on for fuzzy-bastard when I'm away but I've had no luck.
AllTheKitties
YouTube has lots of "cat tv" videos! Mine like the ones that are just mice burrowing and running around

That's really cute. Side note, where can I find those treadmills? All the results I get are for those spinning wheels for cats.
muwah
You can also search walking pad.
DickCheney1
Look for "under the desk treadmill"
AllTheKitties
Treadmills are dangerous for cats (and dogs and small humans).
TheMysteriousTraveller
And for big humans too. Fortunately I missed the edge of the desk when I went down.
