But being in the cold does make you more prone to illness.

I have been using Anxiety prime since launch and wouldn't switch to any other warframe. 10/10

The "natural" color of teeth. As long as you ignore that babies grow white teeth.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

well all bones are pristine white but once its exposed to the elements its white nature is no longer expected

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok but olive oil actually has antioxidants, vitamins, and betacarotenes that help regenerate damaged skin cells

I fukking know viruses cause colds, but the cold temp does sure help it get started. Source: Ran outside in the cold last night, now sick

How it happened

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone that worked in a restaurant, I've told cooks to make guests regret being born when they ask for their food very very spicy.

To buy 24 Roombas is $7800 and an Amazon Echo Dot $50. That's a lot of Chicken Nuggets...

You do not know de rey. You have to have ebola to know de rey.

Immune system gets weak with cold weather, making it easier to get a cold when it’s cold. Source: Someone wrote it last time this was posted

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I also heard the virus will last longer outside the body when the air is cold. Heat weakens the oily membrane. Or sommat.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh and also people spend more time inside with each other in cold weather.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a biologist, THANK YOU! Every fucking time someone goes "aktschuallee, being cold doesn't give you a cold", I'm about to make a headline.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also, in the cold the veins in your nose and face constrict, making your immune system extra weak in your nose and sinuses

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

+1 for capybara-my sleep cycle is all outta whack, here’s hoping that helps!

Some of these myths are half true. Regarding brain cells, neurogenesis greatly slows down with age b/c the number of neural stem cells is...

That's funny alrite but there's probably at least one person who thinks you're supporting Lord Dampnut

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Pretty much.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

For real. Especially the deteriorating eyesight one. I was like "wtf? Tell that to my thick lenses"

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

It's more the staring at things close by for long periods and not varying it up. Eye muscles atrophy over time, causing issues.

It's genetics

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

See people don't get that spiderman Is a total sarcastic asshole to every criminal he beats

8 years ago | Likes 201 Dislikes 3

Spiderman is my favorite hero partially because of his personality but he's not ridiculously overpowered like doctor strange and hulk.

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

You have to admit that he's STILL pretty overpowered. And this is coming from someone whose favorite super is also Spiderman. Dude's legit.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I think he'd be OP if he was ever confident enough to use his full potential but he's never been

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He held up a building once. The Daily Bugel. He's overpowered compared to normies.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He held up the building because he was temporarily made the most powerful being in the universe. A being called "captain universe"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No? He wasn't Captain Universe at this time, if he was holding up the building would have been no sweat. He also has many other feats of 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't think he's overpowered above average sure but he's not invulnerable like deadpool or hulk nor is he as strong.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He has super strength comparable to non-rage hulk and prescience. He doesn't need to be invulnerable if he can basically predict the future.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that's not even starting on the nonsense technology he gets in various comics to augment himself. He's just too pure and naive.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stop fucking tricking us with funnies and then fucking us with political bullshit, as everyone apparently thinks you are

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 12

What are you on about?

I was just saying what everyone else says when I ask why they hate dumps.

If that's supposed to be a Tully Monster (tullimonstrum gregarium), they're from the carboniferous/pennsylvanian period. I'm fun, I know.

Brah, that’s totes an Anomalocaris and it IS from the Early Cambrian.

Wow. This IS fun! Thanks, science dudes.

I love how they determined that it could not have been what was taking bites out of trilobites as once thought. No clue what was though. lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#7 being cold doesn't CAUSE you to get a cold, but it does make it "easier." working harder to stay warm = less resources for immune system

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also children go to school when it gets colder, Christmas shopping, etc.

Who the fucc puts oil on burns

8 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Old wives tales and my boyfriends desire to listen to said old timey advice since it’s from his abuela

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same eejits who recommend a hot shower for sunburn to "take the heat out of it"

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

People still say to put butter on burns.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fat=insulator, therefore it will help heat... dissapate, yeah thats it

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's for after it's cooled. The skin is vulnerable and damaged, and the oil keeps it from getting dry and further damaged during healing

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Except they take way longer to "cool down" than people would expect and all you are doing is preventing fresh air from getting to it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Doesn't take days/weeks, bruh.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’ve heard butter is good for bruises... but then again I’ve also heard about putting oil on burns...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When I lived down south the dominant folk remedy was putting (prepared) mustard on a burn.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ex chef here: Mustard works incredibly well. We used it all the time until we finally got an aloe plant for the kitchen.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Huh; interesting.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually flu survives and spreads better in cold dry air

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

IIRC, cold weather also causes capillaries to contract, hindering antibody movement through the body. So viruses can take hold more easily.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes but wearing a jacket does not make you less likely to catch it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

There's plenty of factors: https://youtu.be/RWiOhlqEDz4

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Viruses aren't alive to begin with so your statement is silly.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Can someone explain the Instagram follow picture??

8 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 0

Guessing OP uploaded from mobile and accidentally included it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it was a mistake but not sure either

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

No

8 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 5

Anyone other than that guy?

8 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

Apparently not. :l

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Assuming the op accidently uploaded when it was his private photo. Prob showing a friend who was following him and or her and or it.
