I NEED TO KNOW WHO THE AUTHOR OF THESE COMICS IS

Amazing comic! Thanks :)

Shouldn't that be 'purrfectly'? Right? Right? Okay, I'll see myself out.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't know why, but the one of the cat napping on the wall made me lose my cookies

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Our ferrets will drink from their fancy cage bottle things, but they absolutely love drinking moving water, usually from the shower

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

One rescue I have scoops his kibble out, then bats (and chases) the piece of kibble. Hitting the water fountain is extra points, I guess.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#6 is frighteningly accurate. If you see that look, you leave the room. No questions asked.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do not clip cat's claws!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Artist & source?

after the second image it could have taken a very different turn

nice

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh wow! I didn't expect to see this here, I actually know the girl who draws them personally! That's so cool

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nice to know my cat wasnt the only one like this

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If my cat hears me breathe or move at any point in the early morning, he thinks it's time for food.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

mine does that too

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 is a thing because cats don't like drinking near food. Considering this is often the arrangement, cats will look for it elsewhere.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My cat has never had this problem. I'd catch him drinking from the toilet sometimes but it stopped once I got him a fountain.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I heard the "What's new pussycat?" song for the clipping one.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Am I the only person on earth with fully functional cats?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I miss my cat now

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pro tip. Cats won't want their water if it's near their food or litter tray or vice versa. They don't want to contaminate the area

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I hate that I'm allergic to cats, they are so funny and cuddly.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

AHHHH So many cat stories! So I discovered that both of our cats love Long Johns fish. Like, a lot. They'll eat a patty between them.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also, I now have two cats. Which means my chair is being stolen by two feline butts all the time.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also, Fuzzball does NOT like having his claws trimmed. Ariel doesn't care, she's a pretty submissive kitten.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

(That said, she also gets terrified by people walking sometimes. Or breathing.)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

if you own a cat you have shit sitting in your house right now

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah. In a litter box. Two litter boxes, actually. I have 3 cats.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My cat loves to cuddle and pay at 6:45am. Alarm goes off all the 7am......bastard.

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 2

Is this the pay for play I've been hearing about in politics

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You charge your cat for cuddles? I gotta start doing that

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Male and female? Alive and dead? Well and sick? Going to heaven or hell? Mustard and mayo?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Attack helicopters and flying BRRRRRRTS!?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Regarding #1, don't keep the food and water bowls close together. Cats won't drink water near food because of contamination. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 3

When cats used to hunt, they wouldn't drink water near a kill to prevent infections and sickness. It's a vestigial behavior. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Mine don't care where the water is, the sink and everything else is so much more tempting. But I did know they didn't like it near food

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cat won't doing out of a bowl regardless of placement.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe the bowl is too small? Cats whiskers are "feelers." If they touch the sides, cat thinks "I don't fit," and won't drink.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought so I got her basically a mixing bowl sized bowl. I think she just prefers my sink and puddles without reason.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Explain my cat squeezing his head inside my glass to get the water at the bottom, when there's identical glass full of water next to it :b

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've had a cat for about a month now and it's my first one. Thought she was just really dumb because of #1. Drinks out of the toilet (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

My cat does as well! haha. I'm hoping she'll fall in one of these days and learn her lesson XD

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More than my lab did when she stayed in the house. As a man living alone I'm having to get used to putting the toilet seat down (2/2)

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Cats are fascinated by flowing water more often than not lol It's freshly changed. Consider a cat fountain and it may solve your problem :)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Gonna have to look into this, but I feel like she's still gonna try and jump into the toilet while I'm peeing

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah but seriously, I had the same problem. Keep a spray bottle near the toilet and when she gets up on the edge, spray her...with the bottle

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

CongaCatulations on being Owned by Cat for ~month! We Owned by 11 now, total 18 back to 1975. Tail/Tale accompanies.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

.....she just wants to be close to you? o_o;

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've literally peed on my cat because he was so interested in running water. After the second time of getting marked as mine he learned

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lol u R. Kelly'd that bich like YO CAT TODAY U GON LEARN

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 is bullshit. My cat is in my face at 7am every morning. because she knows when my alarm goes off it's time for breakfast.

9 years ago | Likes 421 Dislikes 5

I've woken up before my alarm goes off to my cat staring at my alarm waiting for it to go off.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have 4 cats and I feed them all before bed rather than in the morning. They are nice quiet kitties who wait patiently at my door. :3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

my cat pretty much lives in my room when I'm awake, her choice I keep the door open, at night she roams the house

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

for mine 2am is like cat witching hour. he goes batshit crazy and tries to dig my face off or put his nose in my nose.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always end up putting my cat in the litter box room on weekend mornings because of this.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There's no hitting the snooze button at my house either.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

5 am 5am every morning. It's fine now because I gotta go to work but before ughhh

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Correction: 6:58 AM

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That's why I started feeding my cat at night.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Move feeding time to after work. You may get to sleep longer and they're always waiting at the door to greet you when you get home.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually it's more useful to have her make sure I wake up.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Mine still wakes me in the morning, but it's better to wake up to her than an alarm clock :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my alarm is a submarine Klaxxon at the loudest volume I could get...to ensure I wake up, still managed to ignore it this morning.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now that's skill. If I were better at posting this is where I'd put that gif of the rock clapping. H5

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#2 is because cats are considered crepuscular.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dad's dog does that too. Animals totally have a sense of time.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cats condition their owners and it s great

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know the feeling. I wake up at 6:30 every morning with dog tongue in my ear because SOMEONE has to poop.

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Does he run out randomly at night to bark at wildlife yhat dares to enter thrle backyard? My dog won't shut up at the possums.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, she's only primarily crazy about squirrels, so her wildlife freakouts are pretty much restricted to daylight hours.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't imagine you guys have brushtail possums in US/UK anyway.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's nice that he warns you that you're about to shiat yourself.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Generally all 3 of my cats have me pinned down for as long as they can in the morning...they seriously don't care about breakfast until 8am.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cat is a sweetie and let's me get a full 2 snoozes in before he starts crying like someone is trying to kill him

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My cat sometimes wakes me at 5, sometimes at 7, sometimes at 6.30, sometimes at 4.15. he's terrible at keeping time

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Must be related to mine. She doesn't care if it's 3 am or 7 am or 1 am. her bowl is empty, she wants to be fed NOW.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ugh same here every morning at 4:30 and no snooze button on her. I love her so much!!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's mine too. Except his bowl is rarely empty - he just never checks it first...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes! This!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe your cat is broken. Have you checked if there's an update out? Mine seems to be keeping time perfectly.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Should probably turn it off then back on

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Of course!! Always try that first!!!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I bought an auto feeder purely to stop this. My cat gets auto-fed dry food at 4am and 4pm, and then we feed him wet food at 10am and 10pm.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It was a little pricey, but sleeping in more often was worth it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I still sleep in all the time, feeding the cat takes like 120 seconds, then back ion bed

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I wish I could do that. Once I'm awake, I have such a hard time going back to sleep.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My phone is my alarm. Every time my phone makes a noise the cats think they need to be fed just because it happens once in the morning.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

my phone is my alarm too, but the submarine klaxxon I use as my alarm is only used as my alarm.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cats don't care. They think that since my phone makes a sound once and I get up and feed them, that it should happen every time it happens

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why I feed my cat in the evening.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wow so many early morning kitties! mine just stares at me until i wake up and see her there waiting by her food bowl

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cat gets angry when my alarm goes off and then again when I get out of bed haha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm jealous of your name.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For me claw clipping is more like : http://imgur.com/rGsq5TT

9 years ago | Likes 683 Dislikes 4

I have never trimmed my cats nails. I do not have death wish

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Username doesn't check out.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess I got lucky. My kitty is entirely indifferent to me grabbing his paws or clipping his nails. He just sits and purrs

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I put my kitty belly up and clip her claws while she flexes them for me and purrs.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Me too! Never owned a cat that's had a problem with it *shrug*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trick: wrap cats in blanket tightly before trimming.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I've never had to do b it for my cats,

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

where is this from?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the artist is called "Frannerd"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat just gently takes her paw back and then sits on them.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude...a billion scratchers!!! My kitties never need their claws clipped/trimmed :)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

When the dog like a them too, they don't last very long...nail trimming it is

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have several billion and my cats disregard them.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I shine a laser pen on the posts and treat them after they play with them.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're special.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One f my cats gets very upset by not being able to catch the red dot and the other is terrified of it lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat is extremely tolerant. I stick my thumb into his paw pad and it spreads all his toes. I clip them real quick. He just purrs.

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Mine too! I've trained her that I'll brush her (which she loves) afterwards. She'll sit there happy and purring.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same! I've never experienced a violent trimming. I try to make it as soothing as possible and make sure I never clip too close to the nerve.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Me to When she was young I rubbed her paws to get her used to my messing with themEvery now and then she might get bored and jump Usually np

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For some reason, that sounded like you put your thumb elsewhere for a second!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why do you trim the claws?

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

At my house, we do it so the cats don't accidentally scratch us when they get on our laps and such

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

To prevent them from getting stuck on things, and to cut down on accidental blood loss. Usually front claws only.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

A cat's front claws can get quite sharp. Okay for outdoors as they can wear but indoor cats don't really have that. And sometimes 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

a scratch post doesn't really help either. So, so they kill your hands and don't hook up into everything, it's okay to trim them a bit. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I've had cats for years and never needed to trim their claws, I don't really get it.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Seriously? My cat gets fucking talons and rips everything apart of I don't trim them weekly. Front only, his back arm to wear dowb

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does he have scratch posts? Is he an outdoor or an indoor cat?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here. I have Cat trees and posts but I want to make sure they don't scratch the couch etc. Don't know why people think it's weird

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cats claws will grow into her paw pads

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Same. Mine is polydactyl, some of his hidden claws grow into a circle and back into his pad.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That sounds painful?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If I don't trim them so it doesn't happen, yes, it looks awful.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha, for me, there IS no claw clipping. The only way to clip Charlie's claws and live is to have the vet sedate him.

9 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 2

Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat is a Charlie too. Sir Charles the Moose, actually.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My Captain Charlie went missing a couple months ago from parents house. Suspected coyotes:(

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My cat is Charlie too! We've given up on trimming his claws.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I use my dad's old motorbike kevlar vest and gauntlets. Only way.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For mine, we needed a fucking Iron Man suit just to get near him with the clippers

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hahaha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Charlie's a cat... right?!

9 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 1

Defiantly a cat. Just how big is said cat.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's a pretty big guy. And he's VERY defiant.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Ha! hahahahahahaha ha ha... HAHAHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHAHAH

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

I said MAYBE.. YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVES ME CUZ AFTERALL YOU'RE MY WONDERWALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

This made me snarf.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

K so I had this exact issue! Maine coon, required 3 people and gloves.. and still a vet said "I hope he doesn't return"...BUT 1/3

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I decided I was tired of it. I clipped one nail at a time. Every day/few days/week whatever it took. He hated me at first...and he 2/3

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Still does but less. I can now cut his nails at home with so much less stress. Try it I promise it will eventually work...even if it

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Means just holding his paws at first.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
