Listen, I’m a jumper. All it takes is a sudden burst of sound or image popping up to get me to leap out of my seat so my heart cannot handle setting the mood with darkness or I will hurt myself on accident. I literally fell out of my seat during that one scene in Insidious. My limbs fail me when startled
I put all of 15 minutes into resident evil 7 before I walked away, just with a monitor in a well lit room in broad daylight with funny shows on. I didn't even hit a jump scare - the ambiance was just too fucking creepy for me to handle lol

I'm the opposite with horror games. Turn all the lights off and the brightness on the monitor up, because I usually can't see shit

Resident Evil (7?) in VR absolutely broke me. I'm 100% bitch.

I played it for a couple of hours at midnight ( UK release time ) and absolutely loved it.
WickedSludge
Right? It completes the atmosphere of the game. Too much light ruins it. But everyone should play however they want, I suppose
Richels
I'll play in a darkened room but never past sundown.
IgnisInvictus
I ain't blaming anyone for that. That game is creepy.

All those games are creepy as fuck, but found 7 to be the worst. Kinda want to try in vr now.

From what I have seen of gameplay footage of Requim will be very alike to 7 with the vibe.
