It has nothing to do with that. Trump is a senile old man who doesn't really understand any of this shit, but his handlers understand that Greenland is very geopolitically important. They want to use Greenland to control trade coming from the Arctic Sea to the Atlantic. Denmark allows China to trade through these waters. The USA is trying to encircle China and cut it off from Trade and resources it relies on. The moves against Iran and Venezuela are also related to this.
