Circus Mom, 1970s
My mom ran away from home and joined the circus in the 70's and decided to do flying trapeze.
Mom is the one sitting down since she was so much taller than the other flying trapeze artists at a whopping 5'6" but most female trapeze artists were closer to 5' because there is only so much to perform your trick without hitting the catcher.
Mom is bottom left.
Apparently the Vegas Visitor paper was known for featuring prostitutes and strippers at the time but my mom didn't know that when she modeled for the cover and found out after the fact. I don't have a source for this but she heard about it from other people at the time and just brushed it off.
