Chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce

"swedish" meatballs

Chicken pot pie soup in homemade bread bowl

Steak w/pan sauce & loaded potato

Jambalaya

Homemade cheddar BBQ hamburger pizza

Bloody Mary

Parmesan crusted salmon

Scotch egg (sorry for the rotated screen)

Another steak with pan sauce. Also, best way ever to make potatoes.

Tacos

BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos

An attempt at latte art

Spinach apricot stuffed pork loin and sauteed mushrooms

Ramen

Attempt at fried rice and orange chicken

Mmmmm steak with a red wine reduction sauce

I can't remember the protein, but it's an orange zest and parsley garnish with some homemade fries and cherry tomatoes

Another one m-mm-mmmm!!! chicken thighs with caramelized onion and bacon dressing

Made from scratch green bean casserole... It started with some made from scratch alfredo sauce

Coconut chicken with pineapple mango salsa

Made from scratch chicken pot pie... Without a little extra love ;)

Shrimp tacos

Starting of some more jambalaya

Bibbity bobbity BACON!

This is a recipe I got from another imgurian for some blackberry pineapple chilli. I don't know his name but please look at my favorites/cooking folder (if you can) for props to the original chef

Mmmmmmm Korean BBQ Galbi ribs

Onsen tomago before aaaannnd...

After!

Steak with brandy reduced pan sauce add mushrooms and onions

Whiskey neat :33

Side note, decanters came around so that friends could come and drink without worrying about the price of a good bottle of whiskey or not drinking it because it's beneath them. It just made it not matter and allowed you to be with and drink with your friends for the sake of friendship.

Martini with a lemon twist. The best way in my opinion.

This is some homemade beef broth that simmered for over 24 hours.

Random hilarious food rant

Dog tax :)

Thanks for the look!!

Your Jambalaya looks delicious.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can appreciate that. I couldn't find my spaghetti tacos... they're the bomb

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Everything looks great. I want that pot pie in my mouth. However, we need to talk about the jambalaya. It's not soupy or saucey- Love LA.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was my first attempt, I made a new batch recently... A million times better, just didn't catch a good picture unfortunately :/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or the "tacos"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What the fuck is "Guinness Blonde"? I live in Ireland, and I've never seen it..

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I believe from other comments it's an American lager. Just stick with the original. It's a million times better

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a shrimp in your bloody Mary.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

@OP Can I have the recipe for the Spinach apricot stuffed pork loin? Please?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its hard to tell on a picture. Why the ""? Im a swede. trained chef

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Because I've been told that they're not completely Swedish because they're served with mashed potatoes and I did them with egg noodles

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As a native Louisianan THAT IS NOT FUCKING JAMBALAYA. PUT THAT SHIT IN THE TRASHCAN WHERE IT BELONGS.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

yawn

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As a Pennsylvanian who's Google'd a Jambalaya recipe or two in his day, PUT THAT SHIT IN THE TRASHCAN WHERE IT BELONGS. Why so much liquid?!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was just a little soupy and covered the rice :/ still delicious though

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bet it was good, it just wasn’t jambalaya....or gumbo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You should do more food rants!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I AM SO IRRATIONALLY ANGRY ABOUT THE FAKE CRAB!!!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Louisianan here too--it's like when the cafeteria at the university where I work tries to make gumbo for Mardi Gras. YIKES.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't believe I had to scroll down this far. IT'S A FUCKING RICE DISH. WHERE'S THE RICE?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Covered by the juice :/ I don't think I used the right rice that time around so it didn't absolute everything. It is in there though lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jambalaya isn't a soup.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I didn't mean to sound so hateful. Much more rice though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s isn’t gumbo, either. Nope.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also from Louisiana and was like WTF?!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lol yeah I expected some slack from it ????

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I actually made traditional jambalaya the other day with ham instead of chicken and made with a shrimp broth but I didn't catch a good pic

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But you don't make "traditional" jambalaya with ham either. It's chicken and sausage or pork butt and sausage. No ham.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did not know that. I just got the recipe from a Cajun chef and he did say his mom made it with ham, so I mistakenly took that for the trad

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chicken and sausage is traditional jambalaya. I've lived in Louisiana for 45 years and never eaten any with ham. Dunno where hes from.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you either way :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry if I came across as a total bitch. He’s right, use chicken and sausage. Don’t add shrimp broth either, use chicken stock.
