In Paris, a huge students residence has been left to almost 100 graffiti artists for three weeks. It is visitable for one month before some renovation works start

5/7 students would love living there. Hopefully renovation doesn't mean repainting the thing

Thats a museum right there.

How come the regular sized students don't get their own artists?, Huh?

Graffiti is defined as being done illegally, this is just regular/"street" art

Google should buy this building just for the sake of graffiti and keep it as it is.

Just imagine how little time we spent looking at these works of art compared to how long they took to make. Fuck. I spent more time typing.

I'd leave it.

There's nothing like walking the beautiful streets of Paris looking at such history to turn the corner and see shit graffiti on a monument

Is there a code of ethics among graffiti artists? I hate when I see beautiful graffiti art and someone sprays some stupid, ugly tag on it.

How come i have seen it 3 days ago promoted on Facebook ... come on imgur you can do better

On the fucking Louvre. Seriously.

Right? None of this is graffiti, it's art where the painting isn't on a canvas

They're graffiti artists, not graffiti assholes.

There's a broad side to our house with no windows. We considered making it graffiti space before we realized how bad it could get lol 1

Ask for samples before inviting artists to paint, check and see what the past quality they have

in Richmond, VA all of the original Pokemon are hidden around the city on sanctioned graffiti walls

You never know how it'll turn out, tbh. I could become a spot for really good writers or a place for dumbasses to quickly throw their tags.

See in my city that's completely illegal whether you're on private property, in an HOA, or anything else. Sadness.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Wait what? It's illegal to paint murals on your own property

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yep it is. You have to have a solid color on all outfacing walls and it has to be a "conservative" color. I.E. no stripes.
