My sister and her boyfriend flew delta to st Thomas on Thursday and had a great time on there vacation. On Monday they arrived at the airport early to catch there flight home. They wanted to head back home to see there three dogs I've been watching and avoid the cat 5 hurricane that's currently on its way. Delta however had other plans for my sister and her boyfriend. It's sounds to me like delta bumped them off the flight and gave them a bullshit excuse because they had nothing else to say

These are the words my sister says that delta told her "DONT FLY WITH DELTA ! My boyfriend and I were flying home from st thomas and they refused to check in our bags due the SHAPE of our bag. We have never heard of such a thing. It's the same bag we checked in when we were flying here with delta. We asked to speak the supervisor, we said there is a hurricane coming and you're not going to let us on the plane due the SHAPE of our bag??? She LAUGHED at us ! I don't think a category 5 hurricane is something to laugh about! Now we are stuck in st thomas waiting for the hurricane to hit us! To top it off they wanted us to pay 500 to maybe get a flight on Thursday. I am not paying a dime to delta. I just had to spend an extra thousand dollars to stay at the Marriott ! The supervisor also ripped off our JFK tags! I couldn't believe our useless and rude the airline employees were. We will never fly with delta again !"
This is what every window and door looks like at her hotel . FEMA is staying in her hotel as well.the hotel management moved them to the other side of the building and to a higher floor. They gave them three bottles of water and a roll of toilet paper. All restaurants are closed and there's no where to get food. Luckily they have some peanut butter and bread to hold them over for now. I would like you guys to help me get this post some attention to shame delta for there actions. If you upvote this post down vote my previous post. I find it extremely disgusting that delta would leave them in the path of a cat 5 hurricane. And sorry I know my grammar sucks
