Taken from Uncanny X-Force, Volume 1 issue number 4.

No Wendigo curse when someone feeds you human I guess.

Uncanny x force is a phenomenal series. I've read the whole thing a few times over.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fucking cringed audibly.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

X-force deadpool is some of the best deadpool.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rick Remender really knew how to write him.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmm cancer meat.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

But, wait, I get he's helping him in a painful kind of way, but if his body is pretty much a living cancer wouldn't that be BAD kind of way?

Archangel also has a healing factor, not as strong as Wolverine's or Deadpool's.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What happened to him to have to have Deadpool feed him?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apocalypse's four horseman. Famine hit him up so he was slowly starving to death

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ohh that does make sense in the context. Thanks for letting me know.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of that Hannibal scene, where Hannibal makes Mason Verger feed his own face to Will's dogs

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which x-men is this? Angel?

9 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 0

Yes, to be more precise this is his Archangel persona.

9 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 1

Thank you sir

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Archangelllllllllllllllllll!!!!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My favorite member of the X-Men.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't he turn into archangel because of Mister Sinister shenanigans tho?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He made a deal with Apocalypse in order to save his life. That's how he became Archangel.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoa, weird, I just finished the Complete Collection Vol 1 of Uncanny X-Force! Cool.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How'd you like it? I loved it until #18 and then I feel like it went downhill.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hard to recall separate issues in the trade..but it was amazing! Yeah there was a lull, but felt like it picked back up though.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#18 was the ending of The Dark Angel Saga. He's my favorite X-Men so after he was gone I couldn't really enjoy the rest.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

End fight dragged and that creating a new world/evolution bit was crazy. Still just love X-Force tho: more brutal and more time travel!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was perfect up until Warren's demise. After that I hated Fantomex and Psylocke. Wolverine was stale and Deapool left...cont

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...the tone of the book changed and the stories weren't that good after. The only character I liked in the team was the AOA Nightcrawler.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did deadpool morph into a tent?

9 years ago | Likes 155 Dislikes 2

Lamest superpower ever

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

He had a tent packed in one of his pouches.

9 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 0

But he doesn't have food rations in it?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

He has a magic bag. I'm not kidding.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Yep, he has a satchel! A beautiful, mysterious and out of place satchel. And I love it ^_^

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe in the 2nd movie he'll remember to bring it, instead of leaving it in dopinders car

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

i don't think he will get it until the 3rd movie at least. It depends if they kill copy cat in the next movie or not.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

How do you digest flesh that regenerate? Would you just be full all time and never having to take a dump?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think it only regenerates if it's connected to the main body?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it must be the blood that regenerates the body. When you say main body I have to ask which part of the body is that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whatever has the most mass? I dunno...MAGIC SCIENCE! XD

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Insert dick joke here" - Deadpool.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure this is how it works.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He drinks the blood of his enemies from the skulls of their children - Zorn

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, seriously, how would one even *begin* to read all the comics that exist nowadays?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

By opening one, of course.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Deadpool himself has a dedicated series of comic which is decently easy to catch up. For the rest it's a nightmare

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The uncanny x-force run that this is from is where I started. A bit disorienting at first, but it stands on its own and is a lot of fun.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't tell you, but there may be torrents around for it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Uncanny X-Force got me back into comics a few years ago. Slightly confused at first but a couple of issues later and I was good.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pick a single character, find a list of all their comics, pick a story arc that sounds good, and go. Rinse and repeat

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is how I do it.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is there a good website? Or do you buy them? I've not seen a website not any place to buy comic books other than conventions

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There's an online service for Marvel, certain fee a month for unlimited comics. Amazon has certain storylines in graphic novel form

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's physical copies you can go buy or you can go to the companies website and buy digital copies. There's also torrents.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If price is really an issue, there are ways to read comics online for free, though those don't support the creators

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah, price isn't an issue as long as it's not crazy expensive, thanks btw

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Np. The Marvel online service is called Marvel Unlimited. Not sure what DC has though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Didn't wolverine do this to keep himself alive ?

9 years ago | Likes 445 Dislikes 2

Why did he need to, though? Couldn't his healing factor passively heal the damage caused by starvation without the song and dance?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe the reasoning was that Wolverine's regeneration involved him getting flesh from the flesh dimension.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Which is total bullshit. The energy can't just appear.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yup this goes against all laws of conservation of energy and mass.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well Ice Man(?) can just freeze stuff, no? Does everything around that get super heated and he just moves thermal energy? Or, "superpowers"?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya but a man can have his arm cut off and grow it back while another man turns into ice. It's a comic book

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't like these overpowered superheroes. Every other is basically invincible and gets defeated only by someone more invincible. BULLSHIT.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But wouldn't wolverine's regeneration also extend to his organs causing him to never starve? Or is that a way to kill him?

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Wolverine can starve to death which is why he was forced to eat his own flesh.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Ya, just found it interesting that his restoration powers don't extend to his cell function, as the cells die off wouldn't they just regen?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

An accelerated healing factor doesn't change the fact that he still need to eat in some way, shape or form.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

But him eating himself. Wouldn't he require energy to replace the missing flesh. So it would be a net-loss either case.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

but...a his body would just eat away at itself like everyone else. Just much more efficiently.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Under a glacier

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

For six months.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

With a box of scraps

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And 2 hours, 23 minutes and 4 seconds

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

this is the one thing i hate about his power. Ignores the conservation of energy and mass.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

...not entirely unlike almost all super powers in these comics.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*pushes glasses up bridge of nose*

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yep

9 years ago | Likes 165 Dislikes 0

6 months under a glacier or something like and ate his own flesh. It was imgur a few days ago.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even if he's healing faster he needs energy from somewhere, eating himself sounds ...counterproductive honestly...but its fiction so yea..

9 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 1

He Should need energy from somewhere...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you are yourself, you'd be losing nutrients from all the blood loss but you'd be gaining nutrients from eating yourself. And I hear

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

It would only make sense if he needed to consolidate mass differently than his auto-healing was doing. Who needs hands, anyways?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The human body will naturally consume it's own muscle tissue to stay alive.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It will, but it won't consume it straight out like you would if you were to physically eat it. It would only take certain nutrients.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Consuming your own flesh is a waste of energy as the body has to heal and deal with the trauma.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Humans meat isn't very good for you so.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

...I dread to know where you know that human meat isn't very good, but its probably a fun story.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

i just dont understand how that is even supposed to work though... am i thinking into it too much?

9 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

It can't because of the first law of thermodynamics.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're thinking harder than the writers. So yes.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

his skin isnt just reforming when he heals. hes creating entirely new tissue and bones and whatnot. so eating himself works.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

MEAT, FROM THE MEAT DIMENSION

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

9 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 1

Putting aside the magic part, you could eat non vital part like your arm, to keep alive the vital parts like brain and heart.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

There is a Stephen King short story about a doctor who winds up on a deserted island who cuts off parts of himself to eat.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Stranded with a shit load of coke isn't he?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

"lady fingers, they taste just like lady fingers"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And then gets rescued when he's eaten practically all of himself right?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You never find out.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Considering it's King, I guess the dude doesn't have a regen factor right ? : p

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know the story, but knowing how Stephen King tends to write, the story probably doesn't get to the rescue part

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Their genes have mutated to the point where they are no longer bound by the laws of conservation, obviously.

9 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Well duh, look at Cyclops. How many calories does he shoot out his eyeballs?

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Pfft

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

None, because they are gateways to another dimension. The force beam isn't actually coming from him.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Wow... I like that theory

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Punches from the punch dimension.
