Long story short hernias blow and now I have three holes in my stomach plus some fancy new mesh and a separated muscle in my groin. Plus side my hernia was so bad (well worse than they thought) that it pushed everyone else’s surgery behind me back two hours. Plus a month off work isn’t too bad either Down side I’m not allowed to lift anything let alone a 45 lb squirmy bulldog puppy so no puppy cuddles for a while.

Yep, had a double fixed a few years back. KEEP AHEAD OF THE PAIN with meds (Percocets, in my case). Then get off them as soon as possible!

Been there OP. I had inguinal hernia since I was a kid. Just got operated last Dec. Its the best when you dont have to adjust balls often.

PLEASE believe the “no lifting” warning. I know someone who ended up getting 2 revisions because the didn’t listen.

I opened a window, violating the 'don't lift more than 5 pounds' injunction, and had to spend another week back in bed. OUCH.

Just had 2 fixed last week. Mine must have been minor, recovery has been cake. Motrin only, btw. Good luck!

2/ dropped down. So to simplify it’s like I had a third testicle aka my intensities these wreaked havoc on insides as well as my back 3/
