Personal growth and becoming the person you want to be takes time and is difficult even under ideal circumstances, much less the fascist climate apocalypse. Be patient and kind to yourself in the meantime. The people who matter will recognize your beauty and value.

Plot twist, her dick is bigger than his.

From all the videos I've seen... yeah.

This is the one thing that sexists inadvertently become good at. Affirming trans women by treating them like shit because they see a woman.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Guys like that REALLY don’t like it when another guy says the same thing to them, freaks them out….so say it loudly and clearly.

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

My card was declined at the grocery store and I was crying but the lady told another employee that "her card declined" I thought well that's good at least.

5 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Can relate. Also a kid once said to me "you look like a girl, but you sound like a boy". I thought "you little brat......wait, I LOOK LIKE A GIRL!!!!!!"

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

kids are dumb and harsh, but that doesnt imply malice. If they grow up with different kinds of people in their lives, they will learn that those people are normal, and that what they said was a bit rude

@OP You pass right now. We compare ourselves to our idea of pretty women instead of being our own feminine selves.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ahh, classic ewwphoria. It'll happen sooner than you expect.

Something about PIzzacakecomic always strikes me as opportunist and astroturfed. Rather than someone that is an ally.

Similar to the onion article of the worst person you know made a good point.

Regardless of that Glory to you and your identity. May you have allies that support you when it isn't convenient. May you have to tools and the ability to be your true self.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Why so? Genuinely curious since her comics have always seemed on point, if perhaps kinda smug.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There was controversy a while back where she released a three-page comid titled "Talk" which depicted if women talked to men the way men talk to women. The first example was women mocking a man for getting robbed, saying he was asking for it by dressing nice, accusing him of lying about it, and saying not all women rob people. That's a good one. Then the next one was a man complaining of feeling lonely and isolating and women saying it's not that bad, he's an attention whore, and women have 1/2

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

problems too. That is actually a real experience men have and the types of responses men frequently get. The third is a man saying he wears a hair piece b/c it makes him feel more confident, and the women accuse him of lying to women, make a joke about taking men swimming on the first date, and saying he should look good naturally. Again, actual things that actually happen IRL framed as a wacky topsy-turvy world. When people called her out on it, she called them misogynists. 2/2

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So, on point, but smug.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well no, not on point. She framed real experiences that men actually have as some kind of crazy topsy-turvy world. Her goal was to show how misogyny is bad by drawing a parallel to comparable situations that everyone would generally agree are both shitty and ridiculous, leading misogynists to question why they think the real-world cases are okay. This is a sound debate tactic. But her wacky parallels were things that DO happen and ARE often considered acceptable. And she could have saved face1/2

My oldest son has a friend that's trans. I always call the kids and their friends affectations like kiddo or sweetie or something like that. I apparently said "goodnight sweetie, drive safe" one night without realizing it or even thinking about it. My son talked to me about it later and I thought that maybe I insulted her and was prepared to apologize as it can seem sexist. But apparently I made her night. He said she was really happy about it and it made her feel really good.

A happy accident

5 months ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

sweetie is a gendered term for you?

5 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 19

It can also be perceived as condescending when used on teens and adults you aren’t close to, so it’s usually better to avoid it.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Nope, call my boys that all the time. But it is for some folks. kiddo, sweetie, hon, etc.

5 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

fair enough. Just find it strange that anyone would use it as a gendered term 'cause everyone i know who says it (even the very conservative people) have used it non-gendered

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Depends on age. All young children are sweetie, but once you need deodorant it's usually reserved for females.

5 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

That makes me sad. My boy cat will always be my sweetie.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But all cats are sweet babies.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't think they plan on being with a man anyway.

5 months ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 3

I mean, given the one on the right is a man...

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 12

Wow. Just out loud with being a fucking waste of skin. Were you hoping to find comrades in your anti trans bigotry here? Huh? You stupid fucking bigot. I hope you get everything you deserve.

Tell me, if someone took a rabbit and cropped its ears so they're short and pointy, would you call it a cat or would you have the basic level of intelligence to see that it's a damn rabbit?

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Never got past high school biology, huh?
Is your next argument that it was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve?
Cause that's the level or relevance you're batting at here.
Medical science says trans people are valid. Common sense says trans people are valid. Basic human decency says trans people are valid. Just let people live their best lives. You don't have to participate.
You can go sit in your little corner and be sad with the rest of the chuds. Cool? Cool.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Wow. And a double down. You just Google "what arguments have moron bigots been using for years" and copy paste the stupidity? Huh? You stupid fucking bigot?

For some reason, really dumb dudes think that women become lesbians because they just didn't get dicked enough in college, and that a really manly man will cure them of their lesbianism. Source: I used to know some really dumb dudes.

Chasing Amy sure did leave an impression. It's so quotable even if it's so wrong-headed!

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They really want to believe their dicks are somehow magical and powerful enough to fundamentally change a person on the deepest level. See also: their obsession with girls’ virginity.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can confirm; as a dude I have known a *lot* of guys who thought that exact thing. Men fetishize lesbians and think that not only is every lesbian just a straight woman who is choosing to be with a woman due to the failure of the men in their past, but that the dude in question is going to be "the one" who dicks her down well enough that she goes back to being straight. Idiots think that being LGBTQ is a choice.

5 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

I wonder how many people who believe sexuality is a choice are actually bisexual - so for them they really DID choose to live a heteronormative life.

That's not exculpatory since they're still projecting their own experiences onto everyone else and being shitty about it, but I am kind of curious.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same, I've known a lot of guys like that. I got tired one night of one guy going off about it and I said "Man you can't get laid. When you gonna turn gay?" He tried to tell me it doesn't work like that and I had to remind him that it was exactly what he just said. The rest of the guys confirmed and he was harassed the rest of night about when he's going to suck dick, or grap his ankles and other crude things that would probably get me a warning here on Imgur.

And yet, the majority of the ones who say shit like this would get really upset when my gay ex-roommate from college would tell them that they are only into women because THEY havn't gotten the right dick yet.

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

lol!

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I only partially get the "straight men like lesbians" thing. If at least just for porn (you can watch all the goodstuff without seeing dick), but otherwise I don't get it??? You're not invited??

5 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

That's the thing.

They assume they are invited.

Too many men have this idea that all lesbians are secretly bisexuals who are just mad at men because of an experience with someone who wasn't a Real Man™.

They, of course, are convinced that they are a Real Man™.

5 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Bingo. It's straight up main character syndrome.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I read a psychologists take on lesbian porn once, and why men like it so much.

Turns out a big part of it is basically "There's no men in this picture, but sex is happening, so I can imagine that I complete this picture without having to deal with another dude."

For a straight guy, that's a pretty attractive scenario, but it relies on the idea that the women are bi, not lesbians. And as for the "assume they are invited," it's porn. It's up to your imagination what you do with it.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If it was a choice, I think very few of us ladies would choose men

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

isn't that why the bear has become the third choice?

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes. The bear ranks higher than third

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Total idiots really. Clearly you can only dick her down enough to make her a Bisexual. No ones good enough to turn a dyke straight. Well except for maybe Chuck Norris. /Heavy sarcasm if you didn't get that.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

hehe, haven't seen a Chuck Norris joke in the wild in ages. I got it! ;)
